Broadway News: Mrs. Doubtfire will reopen on Broadway April 14 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. The Tony Award-winning musical Jagged Little Pill is expected to make its London debut in November.

Broadway News: Brittney Johnson made history as the first Black Glinda on Broadway on Valentine's Day! Broadway theaters will still require audience members to wear masks and show proof of vaccination for entry through April 30.

Broadway News: Ariana DeBose was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Anita in West Side Story. DeBose's nomination follows Rita Moreno's historic 1961 Oscar win, playing the same role in the earlier film adaptation.

Broadway News: MJ The Musical is now open on Broadway and to celebrate their opening and Black History Month, the team and Playbill have collaborated to release four collectable Playbill covers, for the first time in Playbill's 138-year history.

We all have theater kid energy! Broadway News: Starting this season, Tony Awards voters must complete unconscious bias training in order to vote in any categories. The news, sent to voters last Friday, requires members to take a free, online training session led by inclusion strategist Vernā Myers.

Yes, first and foremost Broadway is back! Notable News: The play Chicken and Biscuits, starring Michael Urie, Norm Lewis, and Cleo King, is making history by having the youngest Black director in Broadway history and 18 artists of color will be making their Broadway debuts with that show.
