In our new monthly format (!), The Ensemblist podcast is back to share some of our favorite stories from our website. On this episode, we share some of the very best stories from our blog this summer, read by the actors who wrote them. In addition, we share some of our favorite performances by ensemblists in our Broadway Roundtable.

First up is a story from Jacob Keith Watson, a performer in the recently-closed Broadway revival of Carousel. Not only was he a original company member of this revival – he also performed in two additional Broadway musicals last season, Hello, Dolly! and The Phantom of the Opera. How does one actor mange a Broadway triple crown in less than twelve months?

Another of our favorite recent blogs took us back to summer Broadway actor Eloise Kropp. When she posted the following story on Instagram, we knew we wanted to share it with you. It’s about how a regular coffee date with a former cast mate led her to an unlikely summer in Italy.
