Center Theatre Group’s Artistic Director Michael Ritchie hosts “30 to Curtain,” a podcast featuring 30-minute interviews with some of the theatre artists creating work across the stages of the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles.

Joining this episode of “30 to Curtain” is Luis Valdez, the founder and Artistic Director of El Teatro Campesino and a legendary theatre artist who has a storied history with Center Theatre Group, including as the writer and director of “Zoot Suit,” which made its World premiere at the Mark Taper Forum in 1978 and had a celebrated revival in 2017 as part of our 50th Anniversary Season. Luis returns to the Taper this season with his latest play, “Valley of the Heart,” which is onstage October 30 through December 9, 2018.
