Shannon Lewis thinks of herself as a Creative Artist who is passionate about telling stories through the collaborative process of theatre and film. A Performer, Choreographer, Director, and creative soul, she has a 25 year Broadway legacy. Her performance of I GOTCHA in the original cast of the Tony award winning musical FOSSE, along with 10 Broadway credits and many television and film appearances solidified her iconic status in the dance and theatre worlds. Now creating from the other side of the process as a Choreographer and Director, she is bringing a fresh and innovative point of view to her new projects. Born in Toronto and then a whirlwind move NYC in her teens, she is now a dual citizen of the USA and Canada. She considers this history a unique world view and a creative bonus that adds a global perspective on her life and art.

Shannon is inspired by those who respect a strong foundation of technique and discipline, but also possess a bold style willing to take risks and push boundaries. For that reason, she is thrilled to be a part of A BROAD’S WAY and the amazing women who are blazing that path. www.shannonlewis.net
