If we didn’t have mental health issues before, we certainly have them now. But what if you grew up in a cultural environment where you weren’t allowed to be emotional- much less ask for professional help? I watched Carlita Victoria stand in the MIDDLE of #blm, in the MIDDLE of the pandemic, and announce her unbelievable mental health initiative for people of color. Carlita took her OWN struggle with her emotional wellness, turned it into a healing mechanism for the community, and shared it with us.
