Host of What's Up Broadway?
Ayanna Prescod (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based founder, theater producer, and journalist. She is currently a freelance theatre journalist published in Variety, Theatermania, Broadway Direct, American Theatre, and Exeunt NYC.
In addition she serves as a co-producer on Pass Over on Broadway, and a production associate on Is This A Room and Dana H. on Broadway. She is also a theater co-editor at The Brooklyn Rail and recently joined the Broadway Podcast Network (BPN) team as their Audience Engagement and Editorial Coordinator. Even with all of this she remains the founder of her first love, OurBKSocial Inc., a digital community dedicated to the people and places of Brooklyn N.Y.
She is excited to be the main host of What’s Up Broadway? and welcomes rotating co-hosts Martín and Christian to the team. She can be found sharing theatre discourse on Twitter at @AyannaPrescod.
