On Sunday, January 27, Rent joined The Sound of Music, Grease, The Wiz and more to become part of the modern canon of live TV musicals. Over the years, I’ve grown curious about how putting on one of these live television musicals differs from what we do in the theatre. So I reached out to some of the live telecast’s company with Broadway cred to ask them just that.
