Theatre, at its best, reflects the world around us, and makes you think about your place within in it.  As the country continues to learn about and fight for racial justice, the theatre community has begun to take a deeper look within. We are learning, perhaps later than we should have, that the word “Diversity” has been hurtful rather than helpful in regard to BIPOC representation. How do we make sure every voice and experience are present and heard in all departments in our industry? Mo Brady spoke to broadway veteran Vasthy Mompoint, to start a conversation about the difference between making theatre more diverse and finding true equality in our business.
