Kristen Anderson-Lopez is an American songwriter and lyricist known for her work on Disney and Pixar films. She is the co-writer of the songs for the films Frozen (2013), Frozen II (2019), and Coco (2017), with her husband Robert Lopez. She has won two Academy Awards for Best Original Song, for "Let It Go" from Frozen and "Remember Me" from Coco. She has also won two Grammy Awards and a Critics' Choice Movie Award.

Anderson-Lopez was born in New York City and raised in North Carolina. She attended Williams College, where she studied drama and psychology. After graduating, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theater.

In 2003, Anderson-Lopez married Robert Lopez, a fellow songwriter and lyricist. The couple began writing songs together for Disney and Pixar films in the mid-2000s. Their first major success came with the song "Let It Go" from Frozen, which became a global hit and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Anderson-Lopez and Lopez have since written songs for a number of other Disney and Pixar films, including Winnie the Pooh (2011), Wreck-It Ralph (2012), Finding Nemo the Musical (2006), and WandaVision (2021). They have also written songs for Broadway musicals, including In Transit (2017) and Frozen (2018).
