Rachel Chan was born in Singapore in 2001 and grew up as a third-culture child in Tianjin, Hong Kong and Vancouver, where she trained in the Professional Training Program for Dance at the Victoria Academy of Ballet. At 16, Rachel performed at Carnegie Hall as a prizewinner in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition. Notable shows she has performed in during her training include ONCE ON THIS ISLAND in the role of Ti Moune and WORKING: A MUSICAL. With MISS SAIGON, she made her professional debut in Vienna.
