MY HOME UNKNOWN is a moving portrait calling attention to the Los Angeles homelessness crisis. "My goal was to tell a story that shows a soul's struggle rather than the outside shell of appearance that is so easily judged,” Canli shares. "Compassion begins when we don't look away."

MY HOME UNKNOWN premiered at Dances With Films: LA, played the The Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF) in Toronto and opened the Micheaux Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film won Best North American Debut at FeFF and received the Panavision Award Nomination for Outstanding Feature.
