The soundtrack features songs written by John Kander and Fred Ebb, produced by Matt Sullivan who has worked on acclaimed projects such as West Side Story and Dreamgirls. The music is performed by global superstar Jennifer Lopez and Tonatiuh.

The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, directed by Oscar winner Bill Condon, who created a new adaptation of Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel and the Tony Award-winning Broadway production. The film has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

ABOUT “KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN”

Bill Condon’s adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman features the story of Valentín, a political prisoner, who shares a cell with Molina, a window dresser. The two form an unlikely bond through Molina's recounting of Hollywood musicals.
