Anastasia Barzee established herself as a versatile Broadway leading lady across multiple landmark productions. She originated the role of Emma Carew in the original Broadway cast of Jekyll & Hyde and later took on the role of Hope Cladwell in the Tony Award-winning musical Urinetown.
Her additional Broadway credits included appearances in the 1997 revival of 1776 and Kiss Me, Kate. Barzee also built an extensive career in regional theater and appeared in television series including Law & Order.
