A Chorus Line star Baayork Lee, an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, director and author received a special Tony Award in 2017 for her work with the National Asian Artists Project. Baayork made her Broadway debut at age 5 as Princess Yink Yawolak in the original King and I. Other Broadway Credits include: Flower Drum Song, Golden Boy, See Saw, A Joyful Noise, Henry, Sweet Henry, and Promises, Promises. In the last, she performed the dance number "Turkey Lurkey Time" (with Donna McKechnie and Margo Sappington). Lee was the dance captain for Promises, Promises and recreated the choreography for subsequent touring productions, starting her future path as a choreographer. Lee has directed and choreographed productions of A Chorus Line all over the world.
