Chad Kimball originated the role of Huey Calhoun in Memphis on Broadway in 2009, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of the passionate radio DJ who championed Black music in the segregated South. He remained with the production through October 2011.
His additional Broadway credits included Lestat and the 2009 revival of Bye Bye Birdie. On television, he appeared in series including Bull and God Friended Me.
