Dylan Mulvaney is an American social media personality, actress, comedian, and singer who first gained public visibility through her TikTok series Days of Girlhood, in which she chronicled her gender transition in daily videos beginning in 2022. Born in San Diego in 1996, she earned a BFA in musical theatre from the University of Cincinnati in 2019. Earlier in her career she appeared in stage productions such as The Book of Mormon (as Elder White) and regional shows including How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Next to Normal.
Mulvaney’s TikTok work led to broader recognition: she interviewed President Joe Biden in 2022 about transgender rights, released her debut single “Days of Girlhood” in 2024, and published a memoir titled Paper Doll: Notes from a Late Bloomer. Her social media following and public profile have made her a visible figure in contemporary conversations about gender, identity, and representation.
