Fredi Walker-Browne is an actress, singer, director, writer, and arts educator. She is best known for originating the role of Joanne Jefferson in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical Rent (1996). Her other credits include touring productions, regional theater, and television appearances, such as roles on The Big C, Law & Order, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
She is the founder of Big Spoon Productions, a film and television production company. As an educator, she conducts workshops and masterclasses for performers and writers.
