The first of a three-part program paying tribute to acclaimed songwriter and composer, Harry Ruby. Known for his collaborations with Bert Kalmar and Ted Snyder, Ruby wrote countless hit songs including “I’m in Love with You”, “Nevertheless”, and “Three Little Words”. Today, he is perhaps best remembered for the zany songs he wrote for the Marx Brothers, including such classics as ANIMAL CRACKERS, DUCK SOUP, AND HORSEFEATHERS.
