[0:00] Andrew: We've got a mission to find the best song that's ever been on Glee.
[0:09] Andrew: There's no rhymes to it, so don't get mad at me.
[0:16] Andrew: We got Andrew and Conor who in the show of the Gleek of the Week Who's the head on show.
[0:26] Andrew: Glack it by Glack It.
[0:28] Andrew: We'll rank everyone.
[0:31] Andrew: Closer to spot number one.
[0:35] Andrew: Gleek of the week.
[0:37] Andrew: Gleak, click, click of the week.
[0:41] Andrew: It's Gleek, Gleek of the Week.
[0:44] Andrew: Oh my god.
[0:45] Andrew: Well, we are back with another episode of Gleek of the Week Podcast where we seek to find the best song on Glee.
[0:54] Andrew: And today we're going to further that exploration.
[0:58] Andrew: I'm joined with past Gleek.
[1:03] Andrew: Uh over the pond.
[1:05] Conor: How are you doing?
[1:07] Conor: I am so wonderful.
[1:09] Conor: I'm so excited to be here.
[1:10] Conor: This is my first live stream episode.
[1:14] Conor: A little glide stream moment.
[1:16] Conor: Yes.
[1:17] Conor: So I feel like I need to mark this in the calendar as a history lesson for us all.
[1:23] Conor: Um and I am buzzing to be.
[1:25] Conor: How are you, Andrew?
[1:26] Andrew: How's everyone?
[1:27] Andrew: Well, I wanna talk a little bit more about a glistorical moment that happened for you this past week that Gleeks would not be readily made aware of.
[1:37] Andrew: Um do you wanna let the cat out of the bag with what happened this past week for you?
[1:43] Conor: Yes, I am joining the now long list of Gleeks who have been slash are about to be guests on And That's What You Really Missed by Kevin and Jenna.
[1:55] Conor: Not that lengthy.
[1:57] Conor: There is a so there's a select few.
[1:59] Conor: So in the last episode, Abby and Alexa were when we recorded they were about to record their episode, so who knows when they will be out on the ether but very excited for everybody included.
[1:59] Conor: What was your experience like?
[1:59] Andrew: That was crazy.
[1:59] Conor: It was amazing, it was unbelievable.
[2:31] Conor: Yeah they did like almost like three hours straight.
[2:33] Conor: I feel like Abby and Alexa, I think the three of us were all recorded in the same day so I just know that Kevin and Jenna were probably exhausted in the best possible way.
[2:31] Conor: I was under the impression that like when I was talking to Alexa and Abby that it would be like a cute little like fan episode where and they were as well where it was like it would be like 20 minutes maybe and then it would just be combined and it would be one package that would be released to the massive.
[2:31] Conor: I was but yeah I don't know because it seems like they're really putting off not putting off but I thought they were going to be starting season four like a week or two ago and they still haven't so I don't know if we're they're gonna release some of those episodes on Monday as well.
[3:07] Conor: I don't know what's happening I just I do my job.
[3:07] Conor: Um what will I say about it?
[3:07] Conor: It was unbelievable.
[3:07] Conor: I do have to say and I've got no qualms in admitting this so will I say it?
[3:07] Conor: Yeah, okay I'll say it.
[3:07] Conor: It's not even that deep.
[3:07] Conor: It's not even that deep.
[3:07] Conor: Um so basically when you click on to the zoom, you are put into this waiting room, and it's like the host has started the meeting.
[3:36] Conor: Thank you for being a guest, blah blah blah blah blah.
[3:39] Conor: And underneath that, there's another paragraph which states once you were let into the zoom and you see Kevin and Jenna, the recording of the podcast starts immediately.
[3:50] Conor: But because I was so nervous, I kind of ignored that bottom paragraph.
[3:50] Andrew: You're preaching to the choir.
[4:00] Conor: Like, I no, I'm right there with you.
[4:02] Conor: I kind of ignored that bottom paragraph.
[4:04] Conor: So when they came up on screen, I was kind of like, hey guys, how are you?
[4:07] Conor: I said something about like their skin, like there were I was like, both of you are glowing, and then I realized 30 seconds after that, I was like, We're recording right now.
[4:15] Conor: Oh so it was crazy.
[4:19] Conor: And then on another thing I will say about this experience is that through my own fault, I didn't know whether it was just going to be a conversation, I didn't know they were gonna be like interviewing me or I or me interviewing them because I've been on podcasts so much, I kind of resort to asking other people questions.
[4:39] Conor: So yeah, so they asked me, tell me about your podcast.
[4:43] Conor: I answered it in like literally 30 seconds, and then I thought no one wants to hear this, and I immediately started asking them questions.
[4:51] Conor: So well, like also, like I'm not I constantly bring this up because I'm like, Why did you archive it?
[4:57] Conor: Why why is Glee Cap archived?
[4:59] Conor: Why is it not readily available?
[5:01] Conor: What what is the what is the reason?
[5:03] Conor: So Glee Cap, we started Glee Cap in like April of 2020, recapping every episode of the show, obviously, and we got to the penultimate episode of season four, wonderful the Stevie uh Wonder Tribute episode, and like I was just about to start my master's at drama school, so those hours are like really it was like 10, 11 hour days, so I was like, There's just no way in God's given earth that I'm gonna come home and record a Glee podcast on top of that.
[5:32] Conor: Like it's just not for me.
[5:33] Conor: So I kind of just stopped.
[5:35] Conor: And the reason I archived it is just because I'm a purist, so like I feel like I need to complete it, but I didn't complete it.
[5:42] Conor: I stopped in episode 21 of season four, and now I'm like mad at myself, but I feel like Gleek of the Week came along, and I'm kind of like that's kind of scratching the itch.
[5:49] Conor: But then I'm like, will I go back and recap it eventually?
[5:52] Conor: I don't know.
[5:53] Conor: I feel like I need to wait for the cultural moment.
[5:55] Conor: I mean, the cultural moment has always been here for you and I, but you know what I mean.
[5:59] Andrew: Right.
[6:00] Andrew: But I do I do feel that Conor's opinion is necessary, especially as we as they delve deeper into season five and six.
[6:09] Andrew: I would like to hear a report of a nuanced report of what your thoughts are on those episodes.
[6:15] Conor: So it's always there, but we shall see.
[6:20] Conor: I have to say, to absolutely no one's surprised.
[6:22] Conor: Like, literally five minutes into the recording, like not me being like, so what is your relationship with Glee?
[6:30] Conor: Well, like that's how I felt too.
[6:31] Conor: And like, I don't even know if I've released this information readily, but like I was like fully like not well going into it.
[6:39] Conor: Like, like, really, like, I was like, oh, like my body is like this is not like this is not a good like this is not a usual thing.
[6:48] Conor: The stakes are very high.
[6:50] Conor: Because it was also like recording um, like Alison and I on And That's What You Really Missed for I believe we had 45 minutes on And That's What You Really Missed, and then they were very generous and gave us a full hour to record um their episode of our podcast, and so it was just like stakes were really high.
[7:13] Conor: Like, if the first recording didn't go well, then like I would need to be like really like pulling a lot out of these two people that like maybe could potentially hate us.
[7:26] Conor: Um so I really I was like considering just like I was like I was like pissing my pants, I'll say it.
[7:26] Conor: I was pissing my pants, like not literally, but like really, really close to like in that waiting room.
[7:38] Conor: The waiting room was so I literally felt like it was because like I was on another thing, just FYI.
[7:45] Conor: So that the recording was at 2 p.m. LA time, but for Conor Burke, that is literally 10 p.m.
[7:53] Conor: So I went through that entire day like shitting myself the entire day and then there were I wasn't even thinking about that.
[8:00] Andrew: That's wild.
[8:02] Conor: Yes.
[8:02] Conor: I know I know like it felt bizarre, and then of course, once you were finished the recording, like I was so buzzed about it.
[8:08] Conor: I mean, I was talking to full disclosure, I was talking to Andrew on the phone afterwards about this, but immediately after I hung up the call, but um a little deep debrief.
[8:19] Conor: Um, but like I don't know, you can probably remember I was so like hyped, but it was like 11 o'clock at night.
[8:24] Conor: I was like, should I I need to sleep because I'm up at 6:40 tomorrow?
[8:30] Andrew: Yeah.
[8:30] Conor: But no, I felt the same way.
[8:32] Conor: I felt this uh very some we had very parallel experiences that like as soon as it was over for me that I was like, okay, recording over.
[8:42] Conor: I could I could run a company right now, I could run a company, I could run a marathon, I could I could literally do anything in the world right now.
[8:50] Andrew: You know, and last thing I want to do is sleep.
[8:53] Conor: I am I'm feeling so buzzed.
[8:54] Conor: Because that's what I never I never asked you this because it never crossed my mind, even though you just brought it up.
[8:59] Conor: So you recorded And That's What You Really Missed first.
[9:03] Andrew: Yeah.
[9:03] Conor: And then went into would you have preferred it the other way around, or were you happy with that run in order?
[9:08] Andrew: Oh good question.
[9:11] Conor: Um I no, I really like the way that it was scheduled because like there are certain guests that have come onto this podcast that you know we've asked them to come onto the podcast and they're like they're not taking the time out of their day, and that's fine to listen to an episode ahead of time, or like really familiarize themselves with the premise of what we're doing.
[9:36] Conor: And so when having the opportunity to talk to Kevin and Jenna for 45 minutes and explain who we are and about what our like mission statement is and what we've done over the past two years at that point, um got them, like Kevin particularly was like, I am so excited.
[9:57] Conor: Like this is like something so fun.
[10:00] Andrew: And so, in a sense, like I felt like I was like, okay, like it was just like a little like um like a pre-game.
[10:06] Conor: It was like uh it was a little like pre-party sort of thing that was like okay, um, it was so good because you were like, you said to me, Oh, I was like, fuck.
[10:16] Conor: I was like, I'm so nervous.
[10:17] Andrew: And you were like, don't be nervous, go back and listen to the episode with Alison and I when we were talking to Kevin and Jenna.
[10:23] Conor: And I did, and I was like, these people are they're just so personable, which I always knew, but it was just kind of nice to remind myself of that.
[10:29] Andrew: Yeah, and episode that I truly have never I like I remember starting to listen to that episode of Alice and I on their podcast.
[10:36] Andrew: I've never to this day finished listening through it because I was just like, oh, I don't want to I don't want to listen.
[10:42] Andrew: If I if I say something stupid, I don't want to hear it.
[10:45] Conor: You know Do you listen?
[10:46] Andrew: Do you listen to this podcast?
[10:48] Conor: Well, I edit it.
[10:49] Andrew: Well other than that.
[10:51] Conor: No.
[10:51] Conor: Oh no, no.
[10:52] Conor: I'm uh I once like uh when we started, I would I would obviously be part of the conversation, then edit it, and then I would do another like listen back to see how it sounds, like the finished product.
[11:07] Conor: But obviously, uh that is so much time devoted to each singular episode that I'm like even like there was like a few weeks ago like the the episode with Matt and you that like Matt caught like a stupid editing mistake on my on my behalf that I was like, Oh, well, yeah, because I'm not listening back to the edit after I edit it.
[11:27] Andrew: So yeah.
[11:28] Conor: Yeah, but like it is so much labor, you're so true.
[11:31] Conor: Like I was a full on sociopath regarding the Kevin and Jenna thing.
[11:35] Conor: I have obviously, as of recording this episode that you are listening to currently of Gleek of the Week, I have obviously not heard the episode with me, Kevin and Jenna.
[11:44] Conor: But like a sociopath, I went through and listened back to just my story.
[11:49] Andrew: To your recording audio.
[11:51] Conor: Did you because I know that it wasn't requested that you record it on your end, but like did you still send it?
[11:56] Andrew: You still sent it.
[11:58] Conor: I still sent it because I was like, I'm gonna send you over my side of the audio, and they did download it, whether they used or not or not, I don't know.
[12:06] Andrew: I got the notification that they don't.
[12:13] Conor: Right, right.
[12:13] Conor: It's like uh it's a LinkedIn, they viewed your page, yeah.
[12:17] Andrew: Yeah.
[12:17] Conor: So they downloaded it.
[12:19] Conor: So we shall wait and see.
[12:20] Conor: Maybe.
[12:21] Andrew: But yeah, it's gonna be crazy to know I don't know what order they're gonna be releasing them in, presumably the I don't know, presumably the order that they recorded them in.
[12:21] Conor: I don't know.
[12:29] Andrew: Right.
[12:30] Andrew: Yeah, I don't I don't know.
[12:31] Conor: Because like I'm like kind of I don't know.
[12:33] Conor: And this is also information when you hear it when it's this episode is like released, you know, uh nine days from now, I guess.
[12:33] Andrew: Nine days from now.
[12:42] Conor: Um nine days from now you'll already know if an episode has been released with Alexa Abbey and or Connor.
[12:49] Andrew: Um but at this point I'm not even sure because you know I scheduled that Alexa Abbey episode to be hand in hand with uh with their release of And That's What We Really Missed but it falls in their court.
[13:01] Andrew: Um like do you did you because this was my experience but obviously I know you had them on Gleek of the Week too.
[13:07] Conor: Did you have a list of questions that you wanted to ask them because for me right I had a list of questions I really wanted to ask them that I was trying to put myself in so everyone in this Zoom chat right now I was trying to put myself in their shoes.
[13:19] Conor: I was like what is what are the questions that the true Glee fans would want to ask Kevin and Jenna but then I was like I've got my little list here but I'm not just I'm not gonna turn around and say okay question one what did you think like I wanted to work naturally into the conversation do you know what I'm trying to say?
[13:19] Andrew: Oh totally because like you don't want to step in it and like I you want it to be like a conversation like I I want to appear like not like other fans you know right I'm not I'm not like the other girls I'm not like the other Gleeks.
[13:49] Conor: Yeah freaks right right um but no I yeah because I I told this uh to you last week I believe that I was like I when they did like a QA episode I feel like this like this entire podcast, Gleek of the Week has now become like a companion piece to when that's what we really miss.
[14:06] Conor: Which I don't if you're listening to this and not listening to that, I am so sorry if this is like okay, sh shut up about this other podcast, but I'm sorry we need to have this conversation.
[14:27] Andrew: Um and uh Kevin took it and was like, um I don't like being asked like if Glee was on today, what song would they be singing?
[14:37] Conor: Which is obviously a question that we ask every damn episode.
[14:41] Andrew: But not every damn episode do we have someone from the cast of Glee, and so a lot of people have fun with the answer, but um it's good to know.
[14:49] Conor: Yes, and you know what? Again, I feel like sometimes I share a brain with you because that question, what question do you guys always get asked when you're sick of being asked was one of my questions.
[14:59] Andrew: And you had told me that that was one of a question you sent in probably a day before the recording.
[15:05] Conor: So I was like, let's just mark that one off.
[15:08] Andrew: Yeah.
[15:09] Conor: I completely forgot about it. But it was like it was um in terms of like the questions that we had for them for their episode of Gleek of the Week, it was like it was very the way that that episode even happened that the like the fact that it was the last episode of round one of the Glack It, we already knew obviously what songs would be pulled for that episode, and so we were able to write specific questions to um go along with all of those performances.
[15:39] Andrew: So that was like very like an easy like set up because like there were as as the questions relate to the performances.
[15:47] Conor: I don't even remember some of the questions that we asked them, but no, that was just like it.
[15:52] Andrew: No, I had them all written. Because I like being prepared, you know?
[15:55] Conor: Oh, yeah, of course, and it was so good.
[15:58] Andrew: I feel like it's quite I was only thinking about this maybe yesterday that we're about to go into season four of their pod.
[16:04] Conor: Which means that their pod is going to be over like when.
[16:07] Andrew: Like oh yeah, who's doing the math on that one?
[16:09] Conor: Who is doing the math?
[16:11] Andrew: Does anyone know when the podcast is going to be?
[16:13] Conor: I mean, I see Amelia in the chat. I don't know if Amelia's keeping analytics on on their podcast as much as this one.
[16:21] Andrew: So there's like 22, 20, and 13.
[16:25] Conor: So Amelia says she's not doing um analytics on that podcast, but she will calculate.
[16:32] Andrew: So I appreciate that. Like, is it good? It's not gonna be on this time next year, is it?
[16:36] Conor: Maybe it'll just be on the road.
[16:36] Andrew: No, I think that it will.
[16:38] Conor: Yeah.
[16:39] Andrew: No, it will. I think maybe like a year and some change.
[16:44] Conor: Yeah, presumably, because they seem to do these miscellaneous episodes in between seasons.
[16:49] Andrew: Right, yeah.
[16:50] Conor: I don't know.
[16:51] Andrew: Um, twenty two twenty-two in season four, twenty and season five, thirteen in Eduardo saying no shade, but they're gonna milk it.
[17:02] Conor: And you know what? Good for them.
[17:04] Andrew: Good milk it's a good for them.
[17:06] Conor: I'm just a cow.
[17:07] Andrew: I'm just a glicky little cow.
[17:08] Conor: Meanwhile, we're st we're still in the depths of round two.
[17:12] Andrew: Right.
[17:13] Conor: Right. This entire setup is I'm going I'm going to die before the glass is over.
[17:18] Andrew: Um didn't I ask you, didn't I ask you? I can't remember if it was on mic or talking about how long where are we in in round two at the moment?
[17:28] Conor: Uh, we are on this is episode 20 of round two. I think that we are on track to end round two in February.
[17:37] Andrew: So not even this year.
[17:40] Conor: Oh my god.
[17:41] Andrew: Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.
[17:42] Conor: Happy Valentine's Day.
[17:44] Andrew: Round two is over. But I don't even know. I think there's like I think there's like fully like nine or ten rounds.
[17:50] Conor: Obviously, they get really small as they get on.
[17:53] Andrew: Go on.
[17:55] Conor: Yeah, oh my god. And that's that's the iconic thing about it.
[17:58] Andrew: But yeah, that's gonna be so like unbelievable to see.
[18:04] Conor: I feel like there's there's still a lot of songs that I don't know about y'all in this chat.
[18:10] Andrew: I I want to strangle them.
[18:12] Conor: I wanna I want to kill them.
[18:13] Andrew: I wanna.
[18:14] Conor: Oh, you want to kill?
[18:15] Andrew: Oh, okay.
[18:15] Conor: Yeah, I think that's a good thing. Like strangle them with like love and be like, oh, I want to keep you.
[18:19] Andrew: Yes.
[18:20] Conor: No, there are some that I want to strangle with love.
[18:22] Andrew: Um can someone in the chat please fill me in on the songs pulled in the early release episode on Friday.
[18:28] Conor: I will let you know, Jenna, right now.
[18:30] Andrew: Okay, um, Jenna has been listening to the The Tortured Poets Department all weekend, and that's actually fair.
[18:36] Conor: That's fine.
[18:37] Andrew: Uh for me, I haven't listened to it, but I love that for you.
[18:40] Conor: Um the songs pulled in the Friday early release were uh uh Boys Boyfriend versus Bitches Back, dress you up.
[18:52] Andrew: Um oh gosh, and here goes Amelia taking the cake already.
[18:56] Conor: Amelia you're the one that I won um versus Teenage Dream Acoustic and Gloria versus Jukebox Hero.
[19:02] Andrew: Um thank you so much, Amelia, for um supplying Jenna with that information.
[19:09] Conor: Um yeah, and Jenna's saying that she can already predict the winners.
[19:13] Andrew: You probably can.
[19:14] Conor: Um the first the first competition was a little bit iffy.
[19:19] Andrew: Speaking of the competition, I Connor, do you have any opinions?
[19:23] Conor: Not really, because I think I I like I agree with all of them.
[19:27] Andrew: Um however, boys Boyfriend, prior to that episode of Glee, I had not heard either of those songs.
[19:35] Conor: You never listen to Boyfriend by Justin Bieber?
[19:38] Andrew: No.
[19:39] Conor: I I know it now. I know it now, but not at the time.
[19:43] Andrew: So to me, I was just like, this is just one song.
[19:47] Conor: Which I suppose is a compliment when you can't hear that it's a mashup, you know.
[19:51] Andrew: Yeah, that's that's a good point.
[19:53] Conor: I I i I could be very, very off base here, but from my opinion at least, Boys was not a Britney Spears song that I was made aware of before um the hit fuck show Glee covered it.
[20:09] Andrew: Boyfriend I was aware of that was playing everywhere on the radio in 2012.
[20:15] Conor: So this is this is my culture, maybe not yours.
[20:20] Andrew: Boyfriend. Bitches backdress you up seeing round three.
[20:24] Conor: We know that's true.
[20:26] Andrew: We know that's true.
[20:27] Conor: And I and I, you know, it's it's crazy to me that now Ryder I would say I would go on a limb and say everybody's least favorite character now has two songs seeing round three being your song and also Bitches Backtress You Up, which is kind of crazy to me.
[20:49] Andrew: I think your song is is gone in the next round.
[20:52] Conor: I think so too.
[20:54] Andrew: But you know what? I was thinking about it and I was like, you know what's the what rider feature is still in the running?
[20:59] Conor: Closer.
[21:00] Andrew: And I like that one.
[21:02] Conor: I I kind of love closer.
[21:06] Andrew: Is that illegal?
[21:08] Conor: I I think it's a weird choice for them to say.
[21:13] Andrew: It is Tegan and Sarah.
[21:14] Conor: Covered by Jake and Ryder.
[21:17] Andrew: Which naturally makes complete sense.
[21:19] Conor: Right, right, right, right.
[21:20] Andrew: Um that was, yeah, that was at the end.
[21:22] Conor: Yeah, I really like that.
[21:23] Andrew: I but I don't I like Ryder's singing voice.
[21:27] Conor: No?
[21:27] Andrew: I think he's uh yeah, no, he No, I just like it's so it's so hard to like kind of like um get away the like the litter or surrounding rider and be like, okay, inherently can I say that this person has a good voice.
[21:46] Conor: Is that possible for me to say everything considered?
[21:50] Andrew: Um I I think yeah, I would agree.
[21:53] Conor: Like he he sounds he sounds good.
[21:56] Andrew: Um yeah, he sounds good in some songs.
[21:58] Conor: Other songs are complete and auto duds, as we all agree.
[22:02] Andrew: It was a very rider heavy episode.
[22:03] Conor: Oh my god.
[22:04] Andrew: It was crazy to me.
[22:05] Conor: It kind of felt like a culling though, which was lovely.
[22:08] Andrew: What do you mean?
[22:10] Conor: Like we're we're gonna we're gonna kill all of these rider representation.
[22:14] Andrew: You're like, this is this has gone too much.
[22:18] Conor: Yes.
[22:19] Andrew: Yeah.
[22:20] Conor: Which deserved, you know.
[22:21] Andrew: Absolutely.
[22:23] Conor: Um do you wanna do you wanna glack it today?
[22:27] Andrew: Um, sure.
[22:28] Conor: Let's do it.
[22:29] Andrew: I'm so excited.
[22:31] Conor: I am very excited as well. I know that Lisa is here.
[22:35] Andrew: Lisa, uh Lisa, do you hear Oh, Lisa was ready.
[22:39] Conor: I'm Lisa is so re Lisa was born ready.
[22:44] Andrew: Lisa, you're oh yeah, we can hear you.
[22:46] Lisa: I'm great. How are you?
[22:49] Andrew: Oh my gosh, so well. You were quick to come on.
[22:55] Conor: I had my mouse ready, covering and just knew.
[22:58] Andrew: Oh my gosh. Um wait, Lisa, before we get into your competition, do you have um any Glackett competitions that you would like to shed light on?
[23:08] Lisa: Of course I have a whole Google Doc ready.
[23:10] Andrew: Oh yeah.
[23:11] Conor: Perfect.
[23:13] Lisa: Alright. First, um, one versus isn't she lovely?
[23:18] Andrew: I know one lost points, because in the video, Rachel singing with that guy, and it's very awkward.
[23:26] Lisa: But if you just forget about that and just look at part where they're on stage, they're killing the vocals.
[23:32] Andrew: Oh my god, Lisa.
[23:35] Conor: One is one of my favorite glee songs.
[23:38] Andrew: I am right there with you.
[23:40] Lisa: I they sound unbelievable in it.
[23:42] Andrew: I know it's kind of cheesy with the window movie maker like hand holing in the background.
[23:47] Lisa: Yeah.
[23:48] Andrew: I forgot about that.
[23:49] Lisa: Yeah.
[23:50] Conor: Do you not like it, Andrew?
[23:52] Andrew: Oh, I'm not um, I think that the thing to me, and maybe Lisa, you've listened to this episode of us talking about it much more recently than I have.
[24:01] Lisa: But um I recall having an issue with this character that has been um paralyzed, and uh and how like like Rachel was really inspired by him, and they they introduced him as a character when Artie is already like a main character that I guess she just like completely overlooked.
[24:24] Andrew: I just think that that would have just like been a much more easy like usage of the character.
[24:30] Conor: And I don't stream it, so I'm so sorry that that you love it and the Glackett does not.
[24:35] Lisa: No, I agree. It was a little like awkward, a little sloppy with the storyline, but I agree, Connor.
[24:42] Lisa: It's like top 20 glee songs in my opinion.
[24:45] Andrew: Like they know.
[24:46] Conor: Yeah.
[24:47] Lisa: I did find it to be very fascinating, and I Eduardo in the chat just brought it up that um Darren a few weeks ago, and then that's what we really miss.
[24:54] Andrew: Again, this is a this is if Gleak the Week is anything, it's just a companion piece of that podcast.
[24:59] Conor: Um, Darren said that um he auditioned for that role of the football player, and he didn't get it, and he was just like, Oh yeah, I was a football player and I was singing a U2 song for the audition, I didn't get the role, but I got Blaine.
[25:13] Andrew: And Kevin and Jenna didn't know what it was, but I was at home listening.
[25:16] Conor: I was like, that's wild to just even be in that universe for even a second where he plays that character.
[25:22] Andrew: That is cra Okay, the way I did not pick up on that, and I could just sit here and lie and be like, oh yeah, I remember that.
[25:27] Conor: I just did not pick up on that for a second.
[25:29] Andrew: Wild.
[25:29] Conor: Yes.
[25:30] Andrew: That is so presumably the actor that actually played that role is genuinely disabled.
[25:34] Conor: Yes.
[25:35] Andrew: Ooh, information that I was um made aware of at one point in time at this given moment.
[25:41] Conor: I am not sure.
[25:42] Andrew: It obviously kudos to them if he was paralyzed, but I'm not um I don't I don't I don't know if he actually is or not, but interesting.
[25:57] Lisa: What else do you do uh do you have any other competitions that did not sit right with you?
[26:01] Lisa: I do.
[26:02] Lisa: Um give your heart a break versus wishing and hoping.
[26:07] Andrew: I know wishing and hoping is like cute for Tana, wedding, everyone's happy, but give your heart a break.
[26:14] Lisa: Like they the vocals, they really killed those.
[26:17] Lisa: They were like belting for their lives, and I feel like we need to appreciate that a bit.
[26:22] Andrew: Lisa, I'm not trying to appease you, but I I agree.
[26:26] Conor: I agree too.
[26:27] Lisa: Good.
[26:28] Lisa: Glad Connor's on my side.
[26:30] Conor: Because Connor wasn't there for that competition.
[26:35] Lisa: Um I was, and I'm I'm still standing by it.
[26:38] Andrew: I'm still s I'm so sorry.
[26:39] Lisa: But I think the Heather Morris has I'm gonna go out on a limb and say has never sounded better than once.
[26:44] Andrew: She sounds great.
[26:45] Lisa: She sounds great.
[26:46] Conor: She's eaten it up.
[26:47] Lisa: She's eaten it up.
[26:48] Andrew: By that point her singing voice has greatly improved.
[26:50] Lisa: Oh, she looks great.
[26:51] Andrew: The bang.
[26:51] Lisa: She looks so cute.
[26:52] Andrew: Mm-hmm.
[26:53] Lisa: What else?
[26:55] Andrew: Okay.
[26:55] Lisa: Next, um breakaway versus call me maybe.
[26:59] Andrew: This is a one that people are bringing up.
[27:02] Lisa: This is crazy.
[27:03] Conor: Three years into it, and here we are.
[27:05] Lisa: I don't have an issue with call me maybe.
[27:07] Conor: It's a bop.
[27:08] Lisa: But I just want to bring up Andrew.
[27:10] Lisa: You said and I quote, I'd be surprised if anyone's favorite song is breakaway.
[27:15] Andrew: This is a quote that follows me.
[27:21] Lisa: If I could take back anything that I've said on the on on the podcast, it would literally be that because that ruffled so many feathers that I was like, you have these people have have never said anything in their life, and this is the one thing that they have issue with.
[27:35] Andrew: I am so sorry.
[27:36] Lisa: I've listened back to it and I'm like, I it hits, but it hits.
[27:40] Conor: And the harmonies are just so tight on that one.
[27:44] Andrew: Gosh, I'm so sorry.
[27:46] Lisa: No, that's okay.
[27:47] Andrew: And call me maybe seeing round three.
[27:50] Lisa: I feel like is that just salt in the wound?
[27:52] Andrew: No, I do like that one.
[27:53] Lisa: Like that one also has some good harmonies too.
[27:57] Andrew: But still.
[27:57] Lisa: Just wanted to bring attention to that.
[28:01] Andrew: Um next, um, let's see.
[28:04] Lisa: Candles versus will you love me tomorrow?
[28:09] Andrew: Okay.
[28:10] Lisa: I don't understand why everyone hates candles.
[28:13] Andrew: I don't see what's wrong with it.
[28:15] Lisa: The vocals are good.
[28:16] Andrew: It's a cute duet.
[28:20] Lisa: Not trying to laugh, Lisa.
[28:22] Conor: That's so rude.
[28:23] Lisa: Wait, but this is this is the first I'm hearing of a of a candlestan.
[28:28] Conor: Can you sell me on on the candle love?
[28:31] Lisa: Okay, so we have this blossoming relationship with Kurt and Blaine, right?
[28:36] Lisa: And they convince Blaine to do a duet together.
[28:39] Andrew: It's like Kurt's first duet first time on stage.
[28:42] Lisa: They're singing a romantic song together.
[28:45] Lisa: It's like Kirk's first like partner.
[28:48] Andrew: It's like they're killing it.
[28:50] Conor: Like Puck is crying in the audience.
[28:53] Lisa: I feel like a good song.
[28:56] Conor: I feel like your candles is my glitter in the air.
[29:01] Andrew: Can I get an F in the chat for glitter in the air?
[29:05] Lisa: I like that one.
[29:07] Andrew: Oh, Lisa.
[29:08] Conor: See, look.
[29:09] Lisa: Sorry, say that again.
[29:10] Conor: Say that again for Andrew.
[29:12] Lisa: I like glitter in the air.
[29:15] Andrew: Okay.
[29:16] Conor: Alright.
[29:16] Lisa: This is getting weird.
[29:19] Conor: Um candles to me.
[29:22] Lisa: My thoughts remain that it was like the Warblers needed to lose regionals.
[29:29] Conor: And so they added in this number that I think that they kind of knew wasn't really on par with what the content the Warblers were producing at that point.
[29:40] Andrew: Um, but apparently, do you think that Warblers should have won regionals then or no?
[29:47] Conor: No.
[29:48] Lisa: I still think you know, get it right was like a spad the century.
[29:53] Conor: Like they still did good, but I just don't think it deserves as much hate as it gets on the two.
[30:00] Lisa: Jenna in the chat is bringing up a good point in my favor.
[30:05] Conor: She's asking why is a song that says looks like a solo tonight a duet.
[30:11] Andrew: See Jenna is asking the important questions.
[30:13] Conor: That's a great question, Jenna.
[30:14] Lisa: It is a great question.
[30:16] Conor: I can't answer that.
[30:20] Lisa: Yeah I just think the thing with candles is is that even though I am not a big shipper like that is supposed to be a big moment for Clayne.
[30:27] Conor: I suppose kind of like a a a pronouncement of swords and then they just get up there and they sing that's their favorite candles.
[30:36] Lisa: Like it's yeah it's it's the claim faithfully is that really what we're like I feel like they could have done so much more, you know Yeah.
[30:44] Conor: Right.
[30:45] Lisa: It could have I thought it was still it could have been a little better but not to completely like shit on this opinion.
[30:55] Andrew: Wait what what else what other songs okay um pay versus I won't give up I am another Pompeii girly like I've no one had it to you before.
[31:08] Lisa: But the thing is yeah there's only three moments in Glee where I tear up one is Rachel getting on the train in season three the second is the fin montage in um still haven't found what I'm looking for.
[31:23] Conor: And the third is Pompeii I don't know what it is.
[31:27] Lisa: I know it's season five and it's like you know, a little iffy, but that one I kinda I kind of know what you mean, in the sense that in the sense that I just I felt I felt like it was very much an ending.
[31:41] Conor: I remember when I was watching it live back in the day, I was like, oh my god, this is gonna come back for one more season, and then this is it.
[31:46] Lisa: And it's kind of depressing with how much it's gone down the toilet.
[31:50] Conor: Do you know what I'm trying to say?
[31:53] Lisa: Yeah, it felt very like final ending, like end of an era type feel.
[31:58] Conor: Right.
[31:58] Lisa: And that meme, I know that like that that moment has been like memeified of like um that's it's not even Rachel anymore.
[32:07] Conor: That's Lee Michelle.
[32:08] Lisa: When she is just she's what is the because I know it's a meme, but but what is the creative decision behind that?
[32:15] Conor: Is it is it her looking into the camera to be like I am okay?
[32:19] Lisa: It's almost it's uh it it's it is like the this new meme of um girl that's going to be okay almost.
[32:27] Conor: I feel it's almost in line with that, where it's like again for context, this is the last shot of season five of um again, this is Lee Michelle, not Rachel, um kind of just being surrounded by New Yorkers, just like marching in the background, and then she looks into the the camera, and then that's the end of season five.
[32:48] Lisa: Um I I think the meme is very funny.
[32:52] Conor: I like it so much, it's so good.
[32:54] Lisa: But yeah, no, I agree.
[32:55] Conor: I like Pompeii Pompeii is it's iconic.
[32:58] Lisa: And I like the the Pompeii.
[33:01] Conor: Um is that why I said it?
[33:03] Lisa: Yeah.
[33:04] Conor: Pompeye.
[33:05] Lisa: Pompeye.
[33:06] Conor: I like I'd like a little Pompeye.
[33:08] Lisa: Um Pompeii.
[33:10] Conor: Yeah, no, I like it.
[33:11] Lisa: There, like, there's a lot of really cute Britney Mercedes um Brittany Rachel moments in that song.
[33:17] Conor: I think it's just cute.
[33:18] Lisa: It's just sweet.
[33:19] Conor: Yeah.
[33:20] Lisa: I do like Pompeii.
[33:21] Conor: I still don't understand why she looks into the camera though.
[33:25] Lisa: For the name.
[33:26] Conor: I love it.
[33:26] Lisa: I love I love the meme.
[33:28] Conor: I love it.
[33:28] Lisa: I've I've literally tweeted the meme before.
[33:31] Conor: But I I is it I I interpreted it when I watched it back in the day that it was kind of Rachel slash Leah Michelle looking into the cameras in like I'm okay.
[33:43] Lisa: We got through this horrible year with the death of Gory Monteith kind of thing.
[33:46] Conor: Is that too deep?
[33:47] Lisa: I agree.
[33:48] Conor: I I I agree.
[33:50] Lisa: Where it's like, hey, if you're still watching this damn show, I see you.
[33:56] Conor: We got one more season.
[33:58] Lisa: It's gonna be okay.
[33:59] Conor: Yeah.
[34:00] Lisa: I don't know.
[34:00] Conor: I feel like I never see any discourse around that particular moment online.
[34:04] Lisa: Like, no, like not even a TV critic is like, why did she look into the camera at the end?
[34:08] Conor: Is she on that so Rachel during this?
[34:10] Lisa: No, this is right when she got that so Rachel.
[34:12] Conor: Which again, like that's stupid.
[34:14] Lisa: That it is makes me emotional when she's like, I'm moving to LA.
[34:17] Conor: And I'm like, why am I crying?
[34:19] Lisa: I actually don't want her to move to LA.
[34:21] Conor: But here I am tearing up.
[34:23] Lisa: I'm I'm moving to LA, bitch.
[34:25] Conor: You're in fake New York.
[34:27] Lisa: You girl, you are in LA.
[34:30] Conor: Um, wait, okay, so um Lisa, I'm so sorry that I won't give up moved on in that favor.
[34:36] Lisa: I feel like I maybe voted for Pompeii.
[34:40] Andrew: Um, rewind the tapes to see if that's true or not.
[34:43] Lisa: But Lisa, what other what other songs would you like to shed light on?
[34:46] Lisa: Um, how about everybody wants to rule the world versus cool?
[34:51] Conor: And cool one.
[34:53] Lisa: Yes.
[34:54] Conor: Cool has good vocals, and I feel like Mike's voice is underrated.
[34:58] Lisa: However, putting that up against Blaine, a Blaine solo, which he slays.
[35:05] Andrew: How did you vote, Andrew?
[35:06] Conor: I voted cool.
[35:07] Andrew: Well, I think that like it's like it's almost in line with like I know what boys like, which is a crazy comparison, but it's like that is the one Mike solo and the one Lauren solo that I'm like I need I like these characters and I want their one solo to go through.
[35:23] Lisa: So that's where I'm whereas like that's just a blow in the bucket, you know what I mean?
[35:28] Conor: Okay, that's understandable that you want some mic changing representation, but I feel like that's like a top like three Lolo.
[35:37] Lisa: Like not just a bucket blow, no.
[35:40] Conor: Hmm okay all right.
[35:41] Andrew: I feel like I like I can't win on this podcast because when I voted Pfizer through Blaine solo, there was people I was like oh my god I finally did my bit for Blaine after me shitting on Blaine for 17 years on this podcast.
[35:56] Lisa: You need to continue to show up to that for that man.
[35:58] Andrew: I was like I finally did my bit for Blaine I put fighter through and then people were still kind of like oh I kinda wish it was Arthur's theme.
[36:05] Lisa: I was like get a job I was like literally like please this is too much.
[36:11] Conor: Um wait do we have one last opinion?
[36:15] Andrew: What's a what's a really hot spicy one?
[36:20] Lisa: Okay.
[36:20] Lisa: This one's brought up a lot but I want to give my stance rolling in the deep versus love is a battlefield.
[36:27] Conor: That one's never brought up but I'm I'm willing to hear it out yes I despise rolling in the deep oh my opinion bottom five glee songs of bottom five yes okay this is spicy I hate how it's a cappella.
[36:47] Lisa: It sounds so awkward.
[36:48] Conor: Like the vocals are okay, but with no drum beat behind it or anything.
[36:53] Lisa: And all you have is those painting dudes in the background, like, you're gonna win you never head met.
[37:00] Conor: Wait.
[37:01] Lisa: Sounds so I think it's never head myth.
[37:04] Conor: I I that that is one song that I really um taper with that I'm like it's it really, really depends on the day where I fall on that song.
[37:13] Lisa: Right now I'm kinda I'm kind of kind of vibing with it.
[37:15] Conor: I like the especially the A V Club doing that backing vocal.
[37:19] Lisa: But um Claudia in the chat is asking for what what makes up the other four of your bottom five.
[37:26] Conor: Okay.
[37:27] Lisa: This is also a controversial one.
[37:29] Lisa: Okay.
[37:29] Lisa: Maybe this time.
[37:31] Conor: What?
[37:32] Lisa: Oh you love that song with your whole heart.
[37:35] Conor: It's so great meeting you.
[37:37] Lisa: Oh no, am I gonna hear getting the boot?
[37:41] Conor: Wait, I don't know.
[37:42] Lisa: Too slow for me.
[37:44] Conor: Like I want more.
[37:46] Lisa: I want I want more drama.
[37:48] Conor: Like it just I like the more fast songs or the the ballads, you know?
[37:53] Lisa: It just doesn't do it.
[37:54] Conor: I thought I've heard every single glee opinion, and yet here you are right in front of me, Lisa.
[37:59] Lisa: I'm literally speechless, which is saying something.
[38:01] Conor: What what other can you please at least say like rain in Spain is in that bottom five as well or no, that one's um I'm trying to think what the other ones would be.
[38:15] Lisa: I'll pull up my spreadsheet if you give me a second.
[38:17] Conor: Oh sure.
[38:19] Andrew: What are some of your bottom threes of all time?
[38:23] Conor: I Yeah, Andrew, I feel like you've never answered that.
[38:26] Andrew: I think I know the answer to that.
[38:27] Conor: What is the definitive worst song on Glee?
[38:30] Andrew: I think When this podcast is over, you take a two week break, and then we go and find the worst song on Glee.
[38:37] Conor: Right, right, right.
[38:38] Andrew: That's what I was thinking.
[38:39] Conor: Like you take the bottom half of the songs, all the songs that lost, and you just do it all in reverse.
[38:44] Lisa: Okay, okay.
[38:45] Andrew: Alright.
[38:49] Conor: Yeah, whatever you have for your bottom is fine.
[38:52] Andrew: Uh no, Rain in Spain, I think is is definitively my my worst song on Glee.
[38:56] Conor: I feel comfortable saying that is the my worst song on Glee.
[39:02] Andrew: The fact that like there are a number of glee songs that they do something fun with.
[39:07] Conor: I'm thinking of you, Pokerface.
[39:08] Andrew: I'm thinking of you, Halo Walking on Sunshine.
[39:10] Conor: That they they take an already good song and they enhance it to make it even better.
[39:17] Andrew: Rain in Spain was a song that I didn't really vibe with in the first place, and then they made it far worse.
[39:26] Conor: Um, so I I just that's mine.
[39:28] Conor: Connor, what's yours?
[39:31] Conor: Oh my god.
[39:33] Conor: I feel like this is such a hot take, and people are not gonna understand it.
[39:37] Conor: But the glee song that I absolutely hate is Wrecking Ball.
[39:42] Lisa: Really?
[39:43] Conor: Huh.
[39:46] Conor: I despise Wrecking Ball, and I think it's just simply because in the MP4, she is on the Wrecking Ball, and it just it just looks so cheap, it just looked terrible.
[39:57] Lisa: I love Melissa, she's great, but I don't know.
[39:59] Conor: I that's definitely up there.
[40:01] Conor: But yeah, probably Rain in Spain, probably um something from the Spanish teacher.
[40:07] Lisa: We've all been there, we all know.
[40:10] Conor: That that's an episode, unfortunately, where songs go to die.
[40:14] Lisa: Yeah, yeah.
[40:15] Conor: Which there's a there's a few like d uh Don't Wanna Lose You is is cute, Bumble Hero is also cute, but oh La Isla Bonita, yeah.
[40:26] Lisa: Of course, okay.
[40:27] Conor: But I'm I think there are exceptions, but it's being plagued by the sexy and I know it and also the um a little less conversation.
[40:27] Lisa: Okay wait so wait what did you find the your other worst songs, Lisa?
[40:41] Lisa: I did I have to like think about it a little more, but some that stand out, um give up the funk.
[40:48] Conor: Okay.
[40:48] Lisa: It's just too weird with all like the voice effects, especially Kurt doing that part in the beginning.
[40:54] Conor: And they're like saying the same line over and over again for four and a half minutes.
[40:59] Lisa: And I need a bit more spice there.
[41:02] Conor: Okay.
[41:03] Conor: Okay.
[41:08] Lisa: Right.
[41:08] Conor: Yes.
[41:09] Lisa: Yes.
[41:09] Conor: Huh.
[41:10] Lisa: This is this is that's an odd bottom five audition for the record.
[41:15] Conor: Yes.
[41:15] Lisa: I'm aware.
[41:16] Conor: Okay.
[41:19] Lisa: I'll I'll leave it at that.
[41:20] Conor: I need to think about something.
[41:22] Lisa: Okay, Stuana, I there this is so rude and like condescending to say, but like there are there are some really bad songs on Glee Lisa that I implore you to listen to that are like definitively worse than maybe this time and give up the funk.
[41:42] Lisa: That I'm like Okay, maybe like blurred lines could be thrown in the bottom five.
[41:47] Conor: See, but consider that else are you say it again?
[41:50] Lisa: Oh my god, same love is so bad.
[41:53] Conor: Same love.
[41:54] Lisa: Right?
[41:55] Conor: Yeah.
[41:56] Lisa: Like how can you look maybe this time in the face and say that they are worse than same love?
[42:03] Conor: How can you s how do you do that?
[42:04] Lisa: Okay, audio medium, Andrew is literally pointing his finger.
[42:08] Andrew: This is me being condescending, actually.
[42:12] Lisa: Okay, yeah.
[42:13] Andrew: I'm so sorry.
[42:14] Lisa: You you come onto this podcast and in in this is you being brave and and saying your opinions and you're being smacked down by the host of the podcast.
[42:22] Andrew: I'm so sorry.
[42:24] Lisa: What okay, so you I feel like a lot of the songs that you were vibing with are clayne heavy.
[42:29] Andrew: Am I reading that correctly?
[42:31] Lisa: Yeah.
[42:31] Conor: I'll answer Claudia's question asking some of my faves.
[42:34] Lisa: Maybe I can redeem myself.
[42:36] Conor: Okay.
[42:36] Lisa: Yes.
[42:37] Conor: Favorite of all time is Faithfully.

[1:38:24] Bria: Well, I'm a Santana fan, um, first and foremost. She will always, I mean I love almost all of her songs. Songbird is probably the most important to me at the end of the day. Um, anything from Jabber Little Jagged Little Tapestry I think is like fantastic. Um, I understand that probably it's gonna be like Somebody to Love or, you know, Paradise is gonna be like the winner, but like those like Santana hits when those go, that's gonna be hard. That's gonna be hard for me.
[1:38:24] Andrew: Do you prefer her drum?

[1:39:39] Bria: Oh well, finished first.
[1:39:49] Andrew: Okay. So when I do the poll, it's that is so fascinating to it's always fascinating when it's like a 50-50, but that truly is divided down the line of like um where Gleeks stand. I think I'm personally I'm like more on the Rachel side. I think just for the nostalgia of season one.
[1:40:12] Bria: Right.
[1:40:13] Andrew: Um, but there are obviously days that I prefer the Santana version as well.
[1:40:17] Bria: Well, and I didn't, I didn't come to my conclusion just like blindly. Like I gave it a lot of thought.
[1:40:21] Andrew: I understand that that's like Rachel's.
[1:40:25] Bria: It wasn't easy for me. It wasn't easy for me. Like I gave it a lot of thought. Like, but like which one am I gonna want to listen to? I like the rock arrangement more. I just like Naya's voice better. Um, and so, but I totally understand why people think, you know, obviously it's Rachel's song. I get it, but personally I am always reaching for Tanis version.
[1:40:48] Conor: Yeah.
[1:40:49] Andrew: Connor, what do you what are you saying?
[1:40:49] Conor: Oh, Rachel Berry hand, like literally, there's no other option. Not even. I don't understand why it's such a divisive issue. Naya eats it the fuck up as she always does, but it's just it's Rachel and it's Lea Michele's song in my head. And I just like I like it's like, oh my god, like I sound like like such a little like I don't know, but like I really, really love when they all like the when the March my band out and they all walk out? Are you kidding me?
[1:41:19] Andrew: Oh sure, no, but I think what you're getting at with that point, even if you're like, oh no, I really hate saying that it's the emotional buildup within the context of the show. And it's like that was when the show was new, it's their first competition. So yeah, of course that all of that will be played into it. Um I do like Santana Drump. I just don't love her.
[1:41:46] Conor: Uh no, I do love her for the record. I'm not cosigning on that. But um Bria, okay. So we are rooting for for Santana specifically. Is there any other factors that we really are manifesting? Um let's see. Um I would say, I mean, I love a good Quinn song. I know that there's not a ton of those. Um push some of those more through. Um not, I mean, this is this is not a hot take by any means, but not crazy about the season four newbies, season six ones, yes.
[1:42:21] Andrew: Okay, um, so those probably would not do well for me, most of those songs. Um yeah, I mean, mostly Santana. I'm I'm gonna be a basic bitch about it, but it's true.
[1:42:31] Conor: No, oh my god, no, there's nothing basic bitch about that at all. No, I'm waiting Britney just as much, or is it literally just Santana?
[1:42:39] Bria: I love Britannia, I'm a huge Britannia fan. Um, but you're in good company here.
[1:42:45] Conor: Yeah, you're right. Um, but I definitely don't love her as much as Santana. Um, but I do love me some Britney songs. I mean Christmas rapping, that's my jam. I've loved that song ever since the Spice Girls covered it back in the day, and a 10-year-old Bria like had the best Christmas.
[1:43:01] Conor: Oh my god, we need more we needed more Spice Girls representation in this.
[1:43:06] Bria: Oh my god. Uh it's unbelievable that we got.
[1:43:08] Conor: I know it's I does anyone remember over in the UK there was a Glee documentary hosted by Emma Bunton, in which she traveled to the set of Glee. And I was like, oh, this must mean we're getting more Spice Girls song. Nope.
[1:43:24] Bria: No.
[1:43:24] Conor: No, the most basic one. Oh, bummed me out.
[1:43:28] Bria: Right. I used to think the same thing. Like it seems like a few years.
[1:43:31] Conor: Sorry, wannabe Glee Cast version. I hate it. I'm just gonna say it. I hate it. I hate it.
[1:43:35] Bria: And I brought I brought this up last in my last episode, Andrew. I was talking about the Glee Cast version of Wannabe. There is something about the original version of that song by the Spice Girls, where it's like it's all about the attitude and they're break like you you kind of root for them. They're running through this posh hotel in London and they're fucking shit up. You just don't get that edge with the Glee version, you know?
[1:44:00] Andrew: Yeah.
[1:44:01] Bria: Yeah, no, I heard you trying to explain it. Um, and it was hard to explain. Um, no, I just comparing the two seasons of love.
[1:44:09] Conor: Right.
[1:44:10] Bria: Yeah, that was that was an interesting choice, but I understood what you were going for.
[1:44:14] Andrew: Yes.
[1:44:15] Bria: Well, I was comparing it to Seasons of Love because Seasons of Love, Glee Cast version is also missing the rawness of like the Broadway cast recording of Rent, if that makes any sense. So but also um I feel like I would have again, like Wannabe was just like scratching the surface and was just such an easy one to do that I'm like, Say You'll Be There is just like one like maybe inch below of like being like basic Spice Girls. Like, I'm not like a Spice Girls like aficionado, but like I know that one, and I prefer that song more.
[1:44:27] Conor: Say You'll Be There is a better song, yeah.
[1:44:55] Bria: I was like, I need that. They could have done so much with they could have done so much with Spice Girls music. Like the way in the Power of Madonna episode when they did the all of the guys singing um what it feels like for a girl, they could have done something really interesting with all of the men singing a Spice Girl song. They could have slowed something down. There would have been some really cool arrangements with Spice Girls' music.
[1:45:17] Conor: Two become one, stop.
[1:45:19] Bria: So my guy's guy will be there, as you said. Spice up your life.
[1:45:23] Conor: Spice up your head.
[1:45:29] Bria: Remind me, you like that song, right? Are you one of the ones that likes it?
[1:45:32] Conor: Oh no, I don't like that song.
[1:45:33] Bria: You don't know.
[1:45:35] Conor: You're getting me confused.
[1:45:36] Bria: You're getting me confused. Okay, I know Alison, but I just wanted I did not understand the hate on that song.
[1:45:43] Conor: I love that song. And I was like, I wish Allison were here just so I could be like, you're not alone. Allison, you're listening at home.
[1:45:51] Bria: Here's the thing. Here's the thing. I don't hate it, but if my house is burning down, it's not the first one I'm grabbing, you know?
[1:45:57] Conor: Well, then there's no It's probably dead in the fire. No one's running back in for that one.
[1:46:02] Bria: Okay, okay, okay. But Bria, we're saying this now, but then in two years from now, just like my opinion of Breakaway, people will be like, wait a minute. Bria, you said that no one is reaching for what it feels like for a girl, and this will haunt you.
[1:46:16] Bria: So just put a disclaimer on that.
[1:46:18] Bria: I'm reaching for it. I'm just not running back into a if I'm running back into a burning building, this ain't the song I'm grabbing. Let's make that clear.
[1:46:25] Conor: Okay, okay, okay. That's not putting my life in danger for it.
[1:46:28] Bria: What it feels like for a girl, Amelia, if you're still here in the chat, I feel as though is in round two, or is it not?
[1:46:37] Conor: I think it went through.
[1:46:39] Bria: I feel like it did. I love the way Amelia's just like present.
[1:46:43] Conor: Present.
[1:46:44] Bria: She's okay. I assume that she she's doing some of the things.
[1:46:47] Conor: Amelia's doing the work.
[1:46:48] Bria: She's doing the work. Um I think it's also just because in within the context of that episode, it's probably is it the weakest song in that episode?
[1:46:58] Conor: Yeah.
[1:46:58] Bria: Probably. That feels fair.
[1:47:00] Conor: What do we got? We got we got Express Yourself. We got Vogue, we got like a Virgin, we got like a prayer, we got four minutes. Um yeah.
[1:47:07] Bria: Okay, yeah, weakest song. I think it's weak a song. It's okay to say that, I feel.
[1:47:12] Conor: I yeah, okay, you're right. Alright.
[1:47:15] Andrew: Um wait, before I I already pulled your first song. I am curious to see this this uh glup date on what it feels like for a girl.
[1:47:26] Conor: The most wonderful day of the year.
[1:47:29] Bria: And it won against the most wonderful day of the year.
[1:47:34] Conor: Oh okay. Alright. Okay.
[1:47:37] Bria: She's got a chance.
[1:47:39] Conor: She's got it.

[1:47:42] Bria: Um, Bria, here we go.
[1:47:47] Andrew: I'm gonna say it's a good one. Here we go.
[1:47:52] Andrew: Okay.
[1:47:53] Bria: It's astounding.
[1:47:56] Andrew: Time is bleeding.
[1:47:59] Bria: Madness takes its toll.
[1:48:04] Andrew: But listen closely.
[1:48:06] Bria: Not for very much longer.
[1:48:10] Andrew: I've got to keep control.
[1:48:17] Bria: Do an attack one tricking those moments when the blackness would hit me, and the one would be calling.
[1:48:41] Andrew: It's just a jump to the left.
[1:48:45] Bria: And then it's the right.
[1:48:48] Andrew: Put your hands on your hips.
[1:49:10] Bria: It's so dreamy.
[1:49:12] Andrew: Oh, fantasy free me.

[1:49:26] Bria: Well so cool at all.
[1:49:29] Andrew: I see it all.
[1:49:32] Bria: With a bit of a mind flip.

[1:49:38] Bria: And nothing can ever be the same.

[1:50:05] Andrew: He shook me up.
[1:50:07] Bria: It took me by surprise.
[1:50:08] Andrew: We had a pick-up truck.
[1:50:09] Bria: And the devil's eyes.
[1:50:11] Andrew: He started me and I felt the change.
[1:50:14] Bria: Time that nevermind again.
[1:50:26] Andrew: It's just a jump to the left.
[1:50:29] Bria: And this is on your hips.
[1:51:00] Andrew: Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[1:51:02] Conor: Right.
[1:51:03] Andrew: You asked for Quinn.
[1:51:04] Bria: Yeah.
[1:51:05] Andrew: And you got quite possibly like top five Quinn numbers right here.
[1:51:11] Bria: It's it's good.
[1:51:12] Andrew: It's good.
[1:51:13] Bria: Andrew, what it what what immediately comes to mind with this song?
[1:51:18] Bria: So I am a massive Rocky Horror fan and have been for a very long time. Probably a much longer than it was appropriate for me to be watching that movie, if I'm being honest. Um it's the it rivals Glee with like things I know the most about and geek out about.
[1:51:36] Andrew: Really?
[1:51:37] Bria: Well, you know what, Bria? It's because what I was thinking about this entire performance is that I was with a friend of mine. I will not name their name the other day. And I knew about I knew I heard whispers about who she was dating. And so I've like I asked like very like nonchalantly. I was like, oh, like who are you like are who like who are you seeing nowadays? Like, what's going on? Knowing who it was, a Nepo baby. Not all this is so inappropriate to be, but I'm not naming names. Susan Sarandon's son is who Susan Sarandon is a fucking icon too.
[1:52:17] Bria: Susan Sarandon's icon.
[1:52:19] Andrew: Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins' child is who they are currently dating.
[1:52:26] Bria: And I was like, Well, did did you um this is information that she readily provided me? Um and um, yeah, no, and I was like, have you have you had any run-ins with with Susan? And she was like, Absolutely, and she she's very nice and complimentary and um in everything that you would want her to be. So that's what's coming up. Not what I was expecting you were Susan Sarandon.
[1:52:52] Andrew: Susan Sarandon.
[1:52:53] Bria: I didn't want to bury the lead, but yeah.
[1:52:57] Andrew: So you're like this much closer to getting to hang out with Susan Sarandon is what I'm hearing.
[1:53:01] Bria: Yeah, I which or or Tim Robbins, not as much of a pull for with Tim Robbins, but you know, they're gonna be on the pod.
[1:53:01] Andrew: They're gonna be on the pod.
[1:53:10] Bria: Like on top of the they're not even like together anymore, but like let's bring them back for a Glee podcast.
[1:53:18] Andrew: They'll reunite this for this, for sure.
[1:53:20] Bria: Right, absolutely. Love it.
[1:53:22] Andrew: Yeah, wait, so tell me more about the this Rocky Horror Love.
[1:53:25] Bria: So, like it when was it first introduced?
[1:53:28] Bria: You said it was very young.
[1:53:29] Bria: Yeah, um, it's not gonna like make my parents sound great, but um my it was I don't even know how young I was, it was pretty young, but um, me and my brother and sister were at like it was like my dad's friend's girlfriend's house. We live in the south, so this is like a trashy South party. Um, and everyone was drinking beer, and like the kids that was like, Oh, go pick out a movie, and I don't know what it was about the cover that like one of us was like, What's this? And then they all instead of just telling us no, they were like, Oh Lord, okay. And then they let us sit there and we watched the entirety of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Just a bunch of kids sitting in a room.
[1:54:10] Andrew: And I obviously was confused, but I loved it and it stuck with me. Like, and you know, I didn't watch it again until I was like a teen, but when I was a teen, I got all my friends into it. Um, we went and saw the local productions. We had like, you know, a Rocky Horror Halloween party, like me and my a good friend of mine. We have a viewing at every single year, and we oh, I come and pull out the karaoke mic and perform all of the songs and uh wait.
[1:54:38] Andrew: So then I need to ask you then when Glee did it, you uh obviously already had this history with Rocky Horror. Do you feel like Glee delivered?
[1:54:49] Bria: And I love that episode. Um, in some ways, yes, in some ways, no. Obviously, they got it's probably like Will Schuster's one of his worst moments as the teacher. He's just like awful throughout it. That's not like fun to watch. Um, so like my my one of my closest friends, the one who we have our yearly Rocky Horror night, you know, she obviously loves the the movie too, and she loves Glee.
[1:55:12] Andrew: She hates this episode because she just hates all the covers. She doesn't think they did anything right. I went into it knowing this is a, you know, prime time teen show that is doing Rocky Horror. Obviously, they're going to change things. Obviously, it's going to be different. And so going into it with those expectations, I just had a great time with it.
[1:55:31] Conor: Yeah.
[1:55:32] Andrew: I mean, I think, I mean, science fiction, that's another thing that I'm just not remembering was on my notes. That's one that I love and I really want the Santana one to go through because I was really like pleased that it went through in the first round.
[1:55:44] Lisa: Against "Firework."
[1:55:46] Conor: Yeah, exactly. And I was like stoked about that.
[1:55:49] Andrew: So, okay. Can I just say I, this year, the year that this episode came out, I did dress up as Brad from the Rocky Horror Picture Show because of Cory in this episode. Mostly because I was like, that's an easy episode to assemble, and I'm also tall.
[1:56:07] Bria: Yeah.
[1:56:08] Andrew: Um, I have never seen a live production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. And I hate myself for it. I really mean that.
[1:56:16] Shanise: Are you? That's surprising to me, Andrew, with you, particularly like living in New York and stuff.
[1:56:23] Andrew: But I feel like there's one on every day of the week.
[1:56:25] Shanise: I yeah, I'm sure that I have had ample opportunity to do so. I was never like outwardly invited to one.
[1:56:32] Andrew: So, um, so if you're in your city and would like to go with me, um, Claudia in the chat is is outwardly inviting me right now. So I guess, uh, in due time, I'll let you know how it is. Um, but yeah, no, I feel like I'm like really remiss of that entire experience.
[1:56:50] Bria: Well, you know, it's different than like seeing someone like actually put on the show, like a local production of it, and then going and like seeing where they play the movie and then it's interactive with the audience and stuff. That's a whole different experience. Not everyone loves that because some people who are fans just want to watch the movie or like watch the show and it gets pretty distracting.
[1:57:09] Andrew: Yeah, but you should at least go and see like someone putting on the play, you should go and see it.
[1:57:14] Bria: Yeah, yeah.
[1:57:15] Andrew: I feel like this is also, uh, correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't this one of the musical performances that the cast fucking hated filming?
[1:57:22] Bria: Because that's what I was thinking. That kind of like leaves like a, a stink in the air for me while watching like kind of like this entire episode, but this performance in particular because there's so many moving parts.
[1:57:32] Conor: I think Jenna said, yeah, she was like, this is when I think Jenna was saying I saw like Heather was just crying on like you just knew it was bad. They were just all so exhausted.
[1:57:42] Andrew: But you can see why they were so exhausted because this song, the shots that they were getting of that choreography, they really had to be on point. Do you know what I mean? Other musical performances, there was a lot of different camera angles and stuff like that, so they could kind of get away with it, but like they really had to be on point with this choreography, I feel.
[1:58:02] Bria: Yeah, yeah.
[1:58:06] Andrew: Oh. Oh, and uh oh.
[1:58:11] Bria: She'll be back.
[1:58:12] Andrew: Um, I will say that, uh, oh wait, you're back, Bria. Do you want to finish that thought?
[1:58:19] Bria: I don't know what's going on.
[1:58:21] Andrew: No, it's fine. I'm back. I was like reaching there she is. You were in the middle of a thought if you want to finish that.
[1:58:28] Bria: Oh, she's gone again.
[1:58:30] Andrew: She really said no.
[1:58:33] Conor: She was like, no, fuck off.
[1:58:36] Andrew: Not on purpose, not fucking off on purpose.
[1:58:41] Bria: Um, I was saying it was that yes, it's very high energy, so I could totally understand, um, why they would get exhausted if they were having to do that over and over again.
[1:58:50] Andrew: Right, right, right, right.
[1:58:51] Bria: Yeah.
[1:58:52] Andrew: Um, in terms of like Rocky Horror songs, is this, um, one of the better ones that they did as a Rocky Horror like aficionado, Bria?
[1:59:02] Bria: Um, I think, I think that seems to be the general consensus. It's not my fave, just because honestly, "Time Warp" isn't my favorite Rocky Horror song.
[1:59:13] Andrew: And what would that be?
[1:59:15] Bria: Probably "Science Fiction."
[1:59:17] Andrew: Oh, duh.
[1:59:18] Bria: Yeah.
[1:59:19] Andrew: No.
[1:59:19] Lisa: Which, which Margaret?
[1:59:21] Bria: "Firework," yes.
[1:59:23] Conor: Right, right.
[1:59:24] Bria: That's the one.
[1:59:25] Andrew: Just a paraclip, not even a whole body.
[1:59:28] Bria: I feel like I'm like kind of scared because I also really love "Science Fiction Double Feature." I think that I'm scared for her because it's a, it's a shorter performance. Um, it doesn't like, I don't know. I just, I feel like it won't survive round two for whatever reason. I'm rooting for it. I don't know, but so is "Crushes." "Crushes" is a shorter performance.
[1:59:49] Conor: That's right.
[1:59:50] Bria: That's true.
[1:59:51] Andrew: But "Crush" had an easy layup with "Feliz Navidad." I think that we need to consider that.
[1:59:56] Bria: Um, but like I think, oh my god, like "Sweet Transvestite," Amelia is bringing up in the chat. I forgot about "Sweet Transvestite," but "Damn It, Janet" is the one that I'm reaching for.
[2:00:01] Andrew: Yes.
[2:00:01] Bria: I love "Damn It, Janet."
[2:00:01] Andrew: "Damn It, Janet" is great.

[2:00:23] Conor: That's the one.
[2:00:26] Bria: She never, she never misses ever.
[2:00:30] Andrew: Um, I feel like maybe we need a moment to put a spotlight on Diana Agron in this performance. I think she, she ate it up, no crumbs.
[2:00:42] Bria: Oh my god. You know what I love when Rachel Berry does? Sorry, do you know at the very start of this performance? She kind of goes.
[2:00:47] Andrew: Oh, she, yeah, where she goes.
[2:00:50] Bria: Oh, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Wait, audio medium, how would you describe that? I'm like doing something with my hand and I'm crossing my eyes.

[2:07:01] Andrew: It really, yeah, like you're saying, Bria, that it's like it's kind of difficult sometimes for Mercedes to like make it kind of switch it up a little bit, you know, which is like kind of like unfair inherently to be like, okay, we know how like S tier all of your songs are, but like they are all so S tier, maybe not all of them, like "Shaking My Head" maybe is like kind of falling flat a little bit.
[2:07:32] Bria: But like, um, but like so many of them are so good that it's like, all right, now we are being very specific about the level of greatness. That this is the prime example that I always come back to. "I Will Always Love You" is like, okay, this is such like a goaded song. Like everybody loves this song, and she ate it up. There is no question about that. But for whatever reason, it just kind of falls flat for me, unfortunately.
[2:08:04] Andrew: Really, you're gonna go that far, it falls flat.
[2:08:08] Bria: It falls, like it just, oh, I know that's so like, that's so terrible to say, right? But like it, oh, how would I, uh, "I Will Always Love You" is like kind of just like difficult to, I don't know, it's just like in a category that it's like, it's, it's like living in the same space as like "Ain't No Way" and like, um, "And I Am Telling You," which is like the obvious S tier that it's like earned their keep kind of like "Try a Little Tenderness," you know.
[2:08:38] Andrew: But this one, I don't know. There's something in the fabric of this song that I don't reach for.
[2:08:47] Bria: I get, I think I get what you're saying. Like to me, it's so on par with Whitney's and so similar to Whitney's. Like, I'm just probably just going to Whitney. You know what I mean?
[2:08:59] Andrew: Right.
[2:08:59] Bria: The voice, yes, you know, like it doesn't, she didn't really do much different.
[2:09:04] Andrew: She killed it, but she didn't really do much different with it either.
[2:09:08] Bria: That's how I feel like so mean to say. I feel like I, I stream "Time Warp" more.
[2:09:17] Andrew: That is an objective fact. Without even looking at a list, I know that I listened to "Time Warp" more than "I Will Always Love You." I know that.
[2:09:24] Bria: But this is a tough fucking competition.
[2:09:31] Conor: And oh, sorry, go ahead.
[2:09:34] Lisa: Oh, I just I wanted to bring up the fact that it's like kind of had, at least for me, a tough, tough competition running so far, with its only other competition in the first round.
[2:09:44] Lisa: Also, this is an iconic song in the Glacket because it was part of the Kevin and Jenna episode of the last song of round two.
[2:09:51] Lisa: I Will Always Love You was the first song pulled in that episode, and it won against Wannabe Starting Something.
[2:09:57] Lisa: Um a competition that I uh voted in the other songs um behalf.
[2:10:03] Lisa: I like that song more than I will always.
[2:10:08] Lisa: But um, yeah.
[2:10:10] Conor: How did Kevin and Jenna vote on that?
[2:10:12] Lisa: So it was Alice and Kevin and Jenna, they all voted for for Amber, which is kind of in line with their opinions about um music on this show that it's it's very Amber and Naya and Naya.
[2:10:24] Conor: Yeah, like if no one else is like, we know what their Glackett kind of looks like, yeah.
[2:10:28] Lisa: Yeah.
[2:10:29] Conor: Um I had to scream at the episode that they did about their dream glee tour, and they were just talking, and then like the the last five minutes they were like, oh, we haven't got a we haven't got a Leah song.
[2:10:39] Lisa: There's no Leah.
[2:10:43] Conor: They ate her off yeah, pointed.
[2:10:47] Andrew: This is what what sorry, what is the chat saying?
[2:10:50] Andrew: I've been ignoring the chat because I this is the danger with me, okay?
[2:10:55] Andrew: Because I've not considered this.
[2:10:57] Andrew: This is my first episode of the pod on a live stream, and I'm like, am I just gonna be fucking influenced by what people are saying in the chat?
[2:11:04] Conor: Does that happen, Andrew?
[2:11:05] Andrew: Oh, yeah.
[2:11:06] Andrew: I feel like I kind of stand my ground though.
[2:11:09] Andrew: I've kind of like learned to grow like a layer of skin and be like.
[2:11:13] Andrew: Uh what I want to know about this song is what is the exact conversation happening between Mercedes and Shane?
[2:11:19] Andrew: Let me cut the music.
[2:11:21] Andrew: Let me hear the conversation.
[2:11:23] Andrew: What's the improv?
[2:11:24] Andrew: What's the improv that Amber Riley is giving in that moment?
[2:11:26] Andrew: Where is her Emmy for this scene?
[2:11:28] Andrew: Basically?
[2:11:29] Andrew: Because there's a lot of there's a lot of hand talking.
[2:11:29] Andrew: There's a lot of sighing.
[2:11:34] Andrew: Um she's really just explaining she's talking with her hands, um uh infidelity.
[2:11:40] Conor: She's doing sign language infidelity.
[2:11:46] Andrew: Uh summer loving heads.
[2:11:48] Andrew: I hate you.
[2:11:49] Andrew: Summer loving it's over.
[2:11:54] Conor: And then he's like, he's like, why?
[2:11:56] Andrew: And she's like, why?
[2:11:57] Andrew: Why?
[2:11:58] Andrew: Tell tell you that it's human nature.
[2:12:05] Andrew: Audio medium, it's really just it's kind of just like it's not even like ASL, it's more just Italian.
[2:12:11] Conor: Um I don't know where this Marsolo falls for me.
[2:12:19] Conor: I need to really look at a list.
[2:12:21] Conor: I really need to look at a list.
[2:12:23] Conor: If only there was someone around here that had a list like that.
[2:12:27] Andrew: If only there were.
[2:12:29] Conor: Um I can pull it up as y'all talk.
[2:12:32] Andrew: No, Connor, without looking at a list, that's kind of the bit.
[2:12:35] Andrew: Without looking at a list, what do you think is the number one Marsolo for you?
[2:12:40] Conor: Um Edward Eduardo is kind of saying the opinion.
[2:12:45] Conor: I can't I can't see whether I'm gonna be able to do it.
[2:12:47] Conor: Ain't no way number probably number one and the rest can fight underneath.
[2:12:52] Lisa: I see we agree.
[2:12:53] Conor: Yeah.
[2:12:55] Conor: Um Yeah, probably ain't no way.
[2:12:58] Conor: Yeah.
[2:12:59] Lisa: Um I do like this though.
[2:13:02] Lisa: This is tough for me, but I feel like it's not tough for y'all.
[2:13:05] Lisa: Or am I reading the situation wrong?
[2:13:08] Andrew: I think you're reading it correctly.
[2:13:10] Andrew: Well, I don't know.
[2:13:10] Andrew: What about you, Bria?
[2:13:11] Bria: Are you just like What are you thinking?
[2:13:14] Bria: I'm thinking.
[2:13:15] Bria: No, this is tough.
[2:13:16] Bria: This is this is tough.
[2:13:18] Lisa: Would Amelia be able to tell us which Rocky Horror songs are left?
[2:13:24] Lisa: Ooh, great question.
[2:13:28] Conor: Great.
[2:13:28] Amelia: Yes, she says.
[2:13:34] Conor: Yeah.
[2:13:34] Conor: Discount.
[2:13:35] Conor: Oh, Disco Inferno eats it the fuck.
[2:13:39] Conor: I love that song.
[2:13:41] Conor: That might be my favorite Marcello.
[2:13:43] Conor: Might be.
[2:13:44] Lisa: That's it.
[2:13:45] Lisa: Yeah.
[2:13:45] Bria: I would say that's my top three.
[2:13:47] Bria: Yes.
[2:13:48] Bria: Yeah, I love that one.
[2:13:49] Lisa: This is so horrible.
[2:13:50] Lisa: Okay.
[2:13:51] Lisa: I'm like, whose idea was this?
[2:13:52] Lisa: I'm like, and who set that system up?
[2:13:55] Conor: It's Andrew.
[2:13:56] Andrew: It's me.
[2:13:57] Andrew: Um Amelia is saying that the remaining songs from Rocky Horror Glee Show are Science Fiction Double Feature, Dammit Janet, Whatever Happened to Saturday Night.
[2:14:07] Andrew: I'm kinda surprised by that one.
[2:14:08] Andrew: Um Sweet Transvestite, Toucha Touch to Touch Me, and Time Warp.
[2:14:12] Conor: Okay, like all of them.
[2:14:13] Conor: There's a light over at the Frankenstein Place is gone.
[2:14:15] Andrew: Oh, well, yeah.
[2:14:16] Andrew: Almost bound to be gone pretty soon.
[2:14:19] Andrew: Um basically all of them then.
[2:14:21] Andrew: Why would they call it whatever happened to Saturday night when that is not the name of the song?
[2:14:25] Lisa: Any other Rocky Horror fans in here find that infuriating?
[2:14:28] Lisa: It's a good one.
[2:14:29] Bria: Is it called Why do you have any reason behind that, Bria?
[2:14:34] Bria: No.
[2:14:34] Bria: I don't know why they can't.
[2:14:36] Bria: I don't know.
[2:14:36] Bria: I really just I genuinely think Adam Anders was genuinely curious about what whatever happened to Saturday night when he started working on Glee.
[2:14:44] Bria: He just lost his weekends.
[2:14:47] Conor: Yeah.
[2:14:47] Conor: Yeah.
[2:14:48] Andrew: How are Mursolo's faring?
[2:14:52] Andrew: W relatively well, one would presume, but I don't know.
[2:14:56] Andrew: I feel like Amelia, last time I checked, I feel like all of the Mursolos, at least that have been pulled so far in round two, have went through to round three.
[2:15:04] Andrew: I feel like she's kind of faring far better than, say, a Rachel.
[2:15:09] Lisa: Oh, okay.
[2:15:11] Lisa: You see, it's really great.
[2:15:13] Lisa: It is really great to know this information.
[2:15:16] Lisa: Because now I'm being swayed.
[2:15:21] Lisa: Now I'm being swayed.
[2:15:22] Lisa: Now that I know that, now I'm being swayed.
[2:15:25] Lisa: Had I not known that, this would have made for very what?
[2:15:30] Andrew: Okay.
[2:15:31] Andrew: No, it's not like you're you're you're joining us in the in the time warp camp.
[2:15:34] Andrew: I feel like not to put words into your mouth, Bria.
[2:15:37] Andrew: I feel like it's pretty evident that you're are you voting in the favor of time warp?
[2:15:42] Bria: Man.
[2:15:44] Bria: Rachel has lost six solos in round two.
[2:15:47] Bria: That's kind of unbelievable.
[2:15:49] Conor: What that is crazy.
[2:15:51] Bria: Wait.
[2:15:52] Bria: No, I I I'm not sure.
[2:15:53] Bria: That is kind of terrorism, no?
[2:15:56] Conor: What what rollos are they?
[2:15:58] Bria: Glitter in the air, but that was round one.
[2:16:01] Bria: Glitter, yeah.
[2:16:02] Bria: She had so many to spare.
[2:16:04] Bria: Come on.
[2:16:05] Bria: So many.
[2:16:06] Bria: And a lot of them were unnecessary.
[2:16:08] Andrew: I don't know, but six gone in round two.
[2:16:10] Andrew: That is kind of a lot of.
[2:16:12] Andrew: I know that like people, people being one of them.
[2:16:14] Bria: Oh gosh.
[2:16:15] Bria: Oh, yeah.
[2:16:16] Andrew: Yeah, I'm glad people is gone.
[2:16:18] Bria: Me too.
[2:16:18] Bria: People's people's gone.
[2:16:19] Bria: Crush is obviously not gone.
[2:16:22] Andrew: Um notoriously.
[2:16:25] Andrew: Notoriously not gone.
[2:16:26] Bria: Um loveful, loveful.
[2:16:29] Bria: Oh, we voted that out.
[2:16:30] Andrew: Yeah.
[2:16:31] Andrew: Okay, and then here's um roots before branches.
[2:16:34] Andrew: Are we are we considering that a Rolo?
[2:16:36] Bria: I guess in the episode it's Rolo.
[2:16:38] Andrew: Um here's that.
[2:16:39] Andrew: What was Roots Before Branches up against again?
[2:16:42] Bria: Remind me.
[2:16:42] Bria: Roots before Branches was against rehab, and that was a contested one.
[2:16:46] Andrew: Your wrong decision.
[2:16:47] Andrew: Um so the the uh the Rolos that have been voted out so far in round two are here's to us, Roots Before Branches, yesterday, loveful, and I'm the greatest star, obviously.
[2:16:57] Bria: The Rolo version.
[2:16:58] Andrew: Do you know what?
[2:16:59] Andrew: I'm actually okay with all of them being gone apart from one.
[2:17:03] Bria: That's what I'm saying.
[2:17:04] Bria: There the there's once to spare, and I can't.
[2:17:06] Bria: Yeah, like I'm the greatest star, I literally go die.
[2:17:09] Bria: Loveful, we voted that out with Lauren yesterday, yesterday's news.
[2:17:14] Andrew: What was yesterday against, though?
[2:17:15] Andrew: That's quite yesterday was against um one less bell to answer, a house is not.
[2:17:19] Bria: Oh, not even a competition, yeah.
[2:17:21] Bria: Absolutely.
[2:17:24] Bria: Loveful should have been a quin song, is all I'm saying.
[2:17:26] Andrew: Right.
[2:17:27] Andrew: Say it.
[2:17:28] Bria: Oh, and now she's gone.
[2:17:30] Bria: And that's the last we ever heard of her.
[2:17:33] Bria: She's been assassinated.
[2:17:37] Conor: Wait, you can you put can you put that in the car as well?
[2:17:40] Conor: Just Breeze camera, just go.
[2:17:43] Conor: Just being gone.
[2:17:44] Andrew: Wait, so okay, I feel like we're gonna be.
[2:17:49] Andrew: She could be gone at any moment.
[2:17:50] Conor: Hurry, Brie, before before you before you leave.
[2:17:54] Conor: What are you voting for?
[2:17:55] Bria: Time warper, I will always love you.
[2:17:57] Bria: Are you gonna make me start?
[2:18:00] Andrew: Um if you don't want to start, I feel comfortable saying it's an obvious time warp for me.
[2:18:06] Bria: No.
[2:18:06] Bria: You're your obvious time warp.
[2:18:08] Andrew: I'm an obvious time warp.
[2:18:10] Conor: What are you going?
[2:18:11] Conor: Now I feel like you look like you're about you're shitting yourself.
[2:18:14] Conor: I feel like you're nervous.
[2:18:14] Bria: Do you want me to go?
[2:18:16] Bria: I'm not shitting myself.
[2:18:17] Bria: No, I'm not really.
[2:18:19] Bria: Spoiler.
[2:18:20] Bria: Spoiler.
[2:18:20] Bria: Bria is not shitting herself.
[2:18:24] Bria: No, it's all still in there.
[2:18:26] Bria: Don't worry.
[2:18:27] Bria: Um, I mean, yeah, I I got I don't want people to be mad, but I gotta I gotta go time work.
[2:18:32] Bria: You gotta go time warp.
[2:18:33] Conor: Goodbye.
[2:18:34] Conor: Gotta go time warp.
[2:18:36] Conor: Connor, do you do you want to throw a pity vote?
[2:18:38] Conor: No, but you know what?
[2:18:39] Conor: I was thinking about this the other day.
[2:18:40] Conor: Goodbye to pity votes.
[2:18:42] Conor: As Ian Alred said, these songs don't have feelings.
[2:18:45] Conor: I'm not gonna do pity votes anymore.
[2:18:48] Andrew: My vote is for time.
[2:18:50] Andrew: No.
[2:18:51] Andrew: You're you're saying time warp.
[2:18:53] Conor: Okay, sorry to.
[2:18:55] Conor: But I would I would say I know that Ian said that, and I know that these songs don't have feelings, but I think that it makes for more interesting content to act like they do.
[2:19:06] Conor: So um, so I'm I'm I am going to stick to the video.
[2:19:11] Conor: I am gonna vote for time warp, but I don't know.
[2:19:13] Conor: Actually, pity vote, please.
[2:19:15] Conor: Pity vote for I will.
[2:19:16] Andrew: You're looking I will always love you in the eye, and that they're they're kind of tearing up, like kind of like knowing what the future is.
[2:19:22] Andrew: Everyone in everyone in this chat can keep it a secret between us.
[2:19:25] Andrew: We don't have to tell anyone else.
[2:19:27] Conor: Right, right, right.
[2:19:28] Conor: I'm definitely not gonna keep it in anyway.
[2:19:29] Andrew: Um but it's so funny how much I was swayed there by knowing how many about the Mercedes Marsolo situation of it all.
[2:19:38] Bria: Hmm.
[2:19:38] Bria: Interesting.
[2:19:39] Andrew: Right.
[2:19:40] Andrew: Right.
[2:19:41] Andrew: That's important to think about, you know.
[2:19:42] Andrew: I think that's why I wanted to know how many Rocky Horror songs like all of them, then I still pick time warp.
[2:19:50] Andrew: Right.
[2:19:51] Andrew: It's like, oh wait, they're all actually doing pretty well.
[2:19:53] Andrew: All right, cool.
[2:19:54] Andrew: Let's keep it going.
[2:19:57] Andrew: Um well Bria, thank you so much for being um part of the Glackett this week.
[2:20:02] Andrew: Really appreciate everything that you continue to do.

[2:20:24] Andrew: You were walking on Sunshine to round that.
[2:20:29] Andrew: I could do something better with that.
[2:20:31] Andrew: Keep workshopping it, but sunshine, you're walking right on to round three.
[2:20:39] Conor: Right?
[2:20:40] Conor: Yeah.

[2:20:44] Andrew: I saw her standing there, there being in round two.
[2:20:49] Andrew: You're you're that's where you continue to stand, and that's where you will die.
[2:20:54] Andrew: I just didn't see her.

[2:21:00] Andrew: Um uh Mama Mia.
[2:21:04] Andrew: Oh, Mama Mia, you're going to round three.

[2:21:34] Andrew: I just need to say that, but continue.
[2:21:37] Andrew: This is like this is the most fun part of the episode for me.
[2:21:40] Andrew: So I'm so glad.
[2:21:41] Andrew: Um time warp.
[2:21:43] Andrew: Oh, and see, like now I I said all that, and now I'm like, do I have anything for Time Warp?
[2:21:47] Andrew: Um, time warp.
[2:21:49] Andrew: Time warp.
[2:21:51] Conor: My cat.
[2:21:55] Andrew: Did you hear that?
[2:21:56] Conor: Yes, I did.
[2:21:57] Andrew: That was very loud.
[2:21:58] Conor: Oh, yeah.
