[0:00] Andrew: We've got a mission to find the best song that's ever been on Glee.

[0:09] Andrew: There's no rhyme or reason to it, so don't get mad at me.

[0:17] Andrew: Glacket by Glacket, we'll rank everyone to see which song will move closer to spot number one.

[0:26] Andrew: Gleek of the Week, Gleek, Gleek, Gleek of the Week. It's Gleek, Gleek of the Week.

[0:35] Andrew: A little bit impromptu episode of Gleek of the Week podcast. I mean, not for the listeners, but for the people that are joining me this week, because we did schedule this recording yesterday, and they were just like two Gleeks that were just really ready and amped to Glacket, and for that, we're all very thankful. Starting in alphabetical order, both C-names, so who comes first? It's Claudia! Hey!

[1:05] Andrew: Hey, are we going by first name in terms of alphabetical order? Because if it's last... Oh. Anyway. Oh, strike that, actually. Actually, no. Let's bring in Conor first. Hey, Conor!

[1:19] Conor: Oh, you were at such a pitch that it was just... Yeah, I didn't hear that at all.

[1:22] Claudia: Wait, this is so iconic. Claudia and I were on Speed Dial yesterday, and we were like, we need to get this shit done, you know?

[1:31] Andrew: This is amazing. You're two busy Gleeks. I was like, hoping. I was like, hey, we have an opening in like two, three weeks. We have an opening. We have Gleek of the Week Incorporated.

[1:45] Claudia: As if, like, we wouldn't be on your team. Like, we would be part of the we. If someone was scheduling your episodes, it would be Conor and I.

[1:52] Andrew: It's so true. But no, it's nice. It's nice that you were...

[1:57] Claudia: No, it's nice. It's nice, actually.

[1:59] Andrew: Wait, I feel like, has it been ages that this specific group of people have been together?

[2:03] Claudia: Yes. I feel like it's been a minute.

[2:05] Conor: I feel like we've only... I guess we talked once.

[2:08] Claudia: Last year. We talked once, and then we were together for the round two finale, right?

[2:15] Conor: Yeah, I believe so.

[2:18] Claudia: Wait, were we?

[2:22] Conor: Yeah, you were the first competition.

[2:24] Claudia: I am about to amnesia. Like, I honestly don't remember anything.

[2:28] Andrew: That's okay. But it's been too long.

[2:30] Claudia: Our episode together, that was great. That was Long Legs. We were talking a lot about it's going to get scary. Long Legs, but also, speaking about long, I think it was the... it still remains the longest episode?

[2:35] Conor: Is it? No, is it?

[2:36] Claudia: It was really, really long. I thought it was Leonalis, not Emoj.

[2:40] Conor: That was... there's no way of knowing.

[2:44] Claudia: There's no way to know, actually. There's no record of it.

[2:46] Conor: There's no way of knowing.

[2:48] Claudia: It will remain a mystery.

[2:49] Andrew: I think round two finale was super long as well.

[2:52] Conor: Yeah, well, I really tried to stay long for the whole thing. And then I was like, I am actually gonna have to go to bed right now.

[2:58] Claudia: No, my brain hardwired.

[3:00] Conor: Yeah.

[3:01] Andrew: I don't care. No, I never cared about holding the title. I don't care about holding the title of being on the longest episode of Gleek of the Week. However, the second that I found out that I do hold that title, I'm really protective of it now.

[3:14] Claudia: And I feel like it's never gonna... I'm always gonna hold the title because obviously, we've got four songs now. Now, come on now.

[3:21] Conor: Now, come on now. I mean, I mean, like, it's still... the episodes are still just as long, which the motivation was like, hey, maybe I'll be able to, like, the episodes will be shorter, not as much to edit, still as long.

[3:29] Andrew: Well, I was trying to, like, speed listen. I skipped ahead to get to the end of the first competition. And then after the first competition, there were only 30 minutes left of the, like, two hours. It was, like, you really front loaded.

[3:48] Andrew: Anyway, do we have... Oh, I actually have a voicemail. Do you want that?

[3:52] Claudia: Yes, yes, yes.

[3:53] Conor: Yeah, let's go.

[3:55] Andrew: Let's just do that.

[3:56] Selma: Hey, Andrew, it's Selma. I'm just chiming in. I have a genuine question that I've been thinking about lately. And in a hypothetical world, if you started the podcast over, which I know you wouldn't, because that literally is insanity, how nuanced or how different do you think round one would be with all the songs? Because opinions have definitely gotten more nuanced over the past three, four years, because people seem to appreciate the later seasons a little more. There's more underdogs making it further, not just because of competition, competition pairings. And I guess I'm just at a phase in my gleek life where I crave more nuanced opinions. And I guess that's also, like, something I want to say, that, like, I really do appreciate all the nuanced opinions that people have been on here, and it's been making it really fun to listen.

And also, I'm in the middle of listening to the newest episode, and in light of what Hannah said about underrated songs that couldn't make it to the end of the bracket, why is still no one talking about How Will I Know? Like, she is one of the best numbers in the show, she is 100% better than the original, and why is no one talking about her at all? And that's all I have to say. Bye.

[5:17] Andrew: Um, Selma, Icon Legend of the Moment, first of all.

[5:22] Conor: That's one thing.

[5:23] Andrew: That's one thing. Second thing, I really do, I know that you brought up two points, Selma. I want to start with the second one that you presented. How Will I Know as a song on the Glacket? We aren't talking about it. And it is weird.

[5:36] Conor: It is very strange.

[5:38] Andrew: What do you, what do you both think?

[5:39] Claudia: I feel like you have.

[5:41] Conor: You think so?

[5:42] Claudia: Or somebody, I feel like it gets brought up, maybe not as often as the, like, I don't even know. Random ass Ben and shit, but.

[5:53] Andrew: I do find that I say that phrase, like, often and I'm annoying myself. Like, I'm always like, we're not talking about her enough. And it's like, if you actually check the tapes, sometimes we are.

[6:05] Conor: Sometimes we're talking.

[6:06] Andrew: Oh, yeah. But How Will I Know is, I love How Will I Know. How Will I Know? How Will I Know top 30 for me?

[6:14] Claudia: Top 30. I know, but like, it's such a beautiful arrangement. Probably like, maybe like top five arrangements in this damn show. Right? It's good.

[6:24] Conor: Yeah. Do you think it's lost some of its oomphness purely because it's literally at the start of an episode? And obviously they're singing because they're mourning Whitney, but there's no real context to it.

[6:34] Claudia: There's no context.

[6:36] Conor: Yeah.

[6:36] Claudia: There's no story really. I agree with that.

[6:39] Andrew: I was like, what was the reason? I think that that kind of is it, that it's like, this should make it far, but for whatever reason, it doesn't have a story backing it.

[6:46] Conor: Exactly. And also just want to shout out again, that we always say, that's when we talk about How Will I Know, the absolutely fucking iconic Matthew Morrison.

[6:59] Claudia: That's what people think about when they think about How Will I Know.

[7:01] Andrew: When he notices the grieving is so iconic. Like, fuck the vocals.

[7:04] Conor: Notices the grieving.

[7:06] Andrew: He's an incredible teacher.

[7:08] Conor: For noticing the grieving.

[7:09] Andrew: Noticing the grieving. It's like, oh, I think he's like in the midst of, and we'll pull that, we'll pull How Will I Know in this episode, and we'll see it later.

[7:16] Conor: Certainly.

[7:17] Claudia: But he's in the midst of talking with another teacher, completely zones out of the conversation and is like, wait a minute, I'm noticing the grieving.

[7:25] Andrew: Noticing it, yeah. I can't remember anything about that number except for the day on the dark stage, to be honest. I mean, I know that it's good, but I don't remember noticing the grieving.

[7:34] Conor: You don't know about noticing the grieving?

[7:36] Claudia: I don't remember noticing the grieving.

[7:39] Andrew: Yeah, I don't know about that one.

[7:41] Claudia: Oh, you don't remember? Oh my god, so iconic.

[7:43] Andrew: We're gonna pull it though, it's fine, don't worry.

[7:45] Claudia: It's gonna be really perfect.

[7:47] Andrew: Iconic.

[7:47] Conor: You'll notice the grieving.

[7:48] Andrew: Where are they? Are they like in the cafeteria? Like, where is he?

[7:52] Claudia: No, they're in the hall.

[7:53] Conor: They're in the hall.

[7:54] Claudia: They're singing it and he's noticing the grieving.

[7:56] Andrew: Okay, he's noticing it in the hall.

[7:57] Conor: Standing by the locker room.

[7:59] Claudia: Yeah.

[7:59] Conor: Sure, noticing it. Yeah, I hear that, yeah.

[8:01] Andrew: I'm clocking the grieve.

[8:03] Claudia: Oh, I'm gonna say that to someone next time I think they're in mourning.

[8:08] Andrew: I'm clocking that you're grieving.

[8:09] Claudia: Oh, I'm clocking the grieve.

[8:11] Andrew: Um, I do want to point out as well, Selma, what a legend. Thank you for that voicemail.

[8:18] Conor: Thank you for that voice.

[8:19] Claudia: Thank you for that voice, Selma.

[8:22] Yes.

[8:24] Andrew: Or at least a voice of a generation.

[8:29] Andrew: Selma, I do want to say, Selma, that is one of the most iconic, um, sentences ever uttered on this podcast, what you just said in your voicemail. It was, I'm at that stage- I'm paraphrasing. I'm at that stage of my Gleek life where I'm brave more nuanced opinions.

[8:45] Conor: Connor is always saying this.

[8:46] Andrew: That's what I was thinking that whole time.

[8:47] Conor: I was like, is this a Connor script?

[8:49] Andrew: Honestly, merch alert.

[8:50] Conor: Merch alert for Gleek nuance.

[8:52] Andrew: Yeah, nuanced opinions as a Gleek.

[8:55] Conor: I'm at that stage of my Gleek life.

[8:57] Andrew: My Gleek life.

[8:58] Conor: Fuck my fucking Gleek life.

[9:01] Andrew: And I'm glad that we were able to provide for you, Selma.

[9:04] Conor: Yeah, Selma does-

[9:04] Andrew: It's really important to have really nuanced opinions.

[9:07] Conor: Provide us an interesting question.

[9:10] Andrew: Very interesting thought exercise, though.

[9:12] Conor: Yes.

[9:13] Andrew: You know?

[9:14] Conor: Which, I mean, I think I've asked you, I've probably asked you both before, but like, are there any competitions that you, like, regret that you're like, when you're like, oh, when I check the tapes, I'm like, that wasn't that great.

[9:25] Claudia: I regret only one, which I feel like is pretty good going.

[9:28] Conor: That is, um, shout versus how to be a heartbreaker.

[9:32] Claudia: I actually voted for shout.

[9:34] Conor: That's flop.

[9:35] Claudia: Mine.

[9:36] Conor: My famous one is a science fiction double feature against Marry the Night.

[9:41] Andrew: And also, I think that like-

[9:42] Claudia: That's tough.

[9:43] Conor: Um, Claudia, another one that I think that you and I should both be responsible for-

[9:49] Claudia: Oh, fuck.

[9:50] Conor: Okay.

[9:50] Claudia: Oh, fuck, here it comes.

[9:52] Conor: Um, is, uh, the episode that we did with Alexa where we voted for, um, Valerie season five over Mr. Roboto counting stars.

[10:02] Claudia: And I do feel bad about that.

[10:03] Conor: Yeah, I-

[10:04] Claudia: I feel a little bad about that.

[10:07] Conor: I feel a little bad about that, but I need those girls.

[10:10] Claudia: I don't, I don't get off.

[10:11] Conor: I need those girls.

[10:12] Claudia: I know, it was, it was before we had like any Britannia duets in round three that I was like, I need, I need them to get in once.

[10:18] Andrew: I, yeah, I actually don't think I regret that. Sorry.

[10:20] Claudia: Oh.

[10:22] Conor: Sorry to say.

[10:24] Andrew: Damn.

[10:25] Andrew: Okay, well, um, speaking of Glacket, speaking of opinions, speaking of just life in general, Glacket grievances.

[10:34] Claudia: Um, I'm gonna notice your grief.

[10:37] Conor: Um.

[10:38] Andrew: Do any, does anybody want to, uh, clock their grief first?

[10:49] Claudia: Um.

[10:51] Conor: Did you-

[10:54] Claudia: Um, I mean, I've got it right here if you want me to go quickly.

[10:57] Andrew: Go, go.

[10:58] Claudia: Go ahead.

[10:59] Andrew: Okay.

[11:00] Claudia: Okay, so.

[11:02] Conor: I mean, I was on three episodes ago, so let me just see.

[11:08] Claudia: Lose my breath versus cough syrup.

[11:10] Conor: Cough syrup and tracerine.

[11:11] Claudia: That's our god.

[11:12] Andrew: You know, I, when you do this and you just go through.

[11:15] Conor: And we're just like, go on.

[11:17] Claudia: It's like, yeah, I have it ready, and it's like, you're just-

[11:19] Conor: Remember I had a gap of like 20 episodes one time, and I was like, let me just, and then I just, I'm all out.

[11:27] Claudia: It was iconic.

[11:28] Conor: Light up the world versus L.O.V.E.

[11:30] Claudia: Um, I could have probably went for L.O.V.E. either.

[11:34] Conor: Um, never considered, but yeah, that's fine.

[11:37] Claudia: Last week's episode then, I did, what was the first competition?

[11:41] Conor: Remind me.

[11:42] Claudia: Of last week?

[11:44] Conor: Yeah.

[11:44] Claudia: It was father figure and jar of hearts.

[11:48] Conor: Okay, I probably would have went for jar of hearts, personally.

[11:50] Claudia: I would not.

[11:51] Conor: It was not that hard to me.

[11:52] Claudia: You guys were saying it was such a hard competition.

[11:54] Conor: I didn't get it.

[11:55] Claudia: In which, in which way?

[11:56] Conor: Father figure for sure.

[11:57] Claudia: Father figure, yeah.

[12:00] Andrew: Yeah, like, I'm like, I mean, I can see why, like, like, I'm fine.

[12:04] Conor: Do you know what I mean?

[12:05] Claudia: It's fine.

[12:06] Claudia: I'm fine, but like-

[12:07] Conor: They're so close to me.

[12:08] Claudia: They're like, they're really, really, that was a really tough competition for me personally.

[12:12] Conor: They're my grievances.

[12:14] Andrew: Oh.

[12:14] Claudia: Okay.

[12:16] Claudia: I fear there's not, there's not much to say.

[12:18] Conor: Like, I was on, I was on two episodes ago.

[12:21] Claudia: So.

[12:23] Conor: Well, there was supposed to be a larger gap, but you guys were open today.

[12:28] Claudia: The bookings were open and we were flexible.

[12:31] Conor: We were trying to get you in.

[12:35] Claudia: Yeah, I don't know.

[12:36] Conor: I, uh, I remember what the second one was from the most recent episode.

[12:43] Claudia: The second competition.

[12:45] Conor: Let's, let's take a look here.

[12:47] Claudia: It was alone versus-

[12:49] Conor: Oh, it was-

[12:51] Claudia: Yeah, I got you, I got you, I got you.

[12:52] Conor: It was alone versus, like, a prayer.

[12:54] Claudia: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[12:55] Conor: That's-

[12:55] Claudia: Oh, yeah, that was, that was easy.

[12:57] Andrew: But thank you, by the way, not to, not to just shit all over alone by just ignoring it.

[13:01] Conor: Thank you for bringing up fire, actually, last week.

[13:03] Andrew: Because that is a Conor Burke quote again.

[13:06] Conor: We're not talking about her enough.

[13:08] Andrew: We're not.

[13:08] Claudia: We're not talking about fire enough.

[13:10] Conor: Had to look it up on Spotify and listen to it because I did not know what it was.

[13:14] Claudia: Just didn't know.

[13:14] Conor: Exactly, you, you, you prove my point.

[13:17] Andrew: Yeah, you're in the stage, Claudia, not to speak for you.

[13:20] Andrew: But like, I think that you're in the stage of your Gleek life, where you need to really expand your Glee discography.

[13:28] Claudia: Yes, I, the one thing I want to chime in is on all of the, I feel like the Christmas wrapping grievance keeps coming up.

[13:37] Claudia: And you were saying how, like, I feel really strongly, like, no one feels kind of in the middle.

[13:43] Conor: I kind of do feel in the middle, because-

[13:45] Claudia: I was about to say that.

[13:46] Conor: I was literally about to say that.

[13:48] Claudia: So weird.

[13:49] Conor: Yeah.

[13:49] Claudia: Britney's my girl, but it's not my favorite of hers.

[13:53] Conor: It's not my favorite Christmas song or Christmas performance.

[13:56] Claudia: I do like it.

[13:57] Conor: And I want her to have her time.

[14:00] Claudia: Like, I think it's a good Britney number, but I'm not like, this is the best thing ever.

[14:03] Conor: And I'm also not like, I hate her.

[14:04] Claudia: She should die.

[14:06] Conor: So it's interesting.

[14:07] Claudia: It's interesting how impassioned people have been.

[14:09] Andrew: Wait, Claudia, what is your favorite Bertolo?

[14:11] Claudia: Oh, your favorite Bertolo is like, Dinosaur?

[14:13] Conor: I don't even know.

[14:15] Claudia: I...

[14:17] Claudia: I love Slave for You.

[14:19] Conor: Yeah.

[14:19] Claudia: Was she done in-

[14:20] Conor: Did she have any in later seasons?

[14:23] Claudia: Did she have any?

[14:24] Conor: Yes.

[14:25] Claudia: Well, I mean, like, she had, like, her last solo on the Glock is Give Me More.

[14:30] Conor: Oh, yeah.

[14:30] Claudia: That's so funny.

[14:32] Conor: I don't know.

[14:32] Claudia: She was, of course, supposed to have Dancing on My Own, but that didn't make it.

[14:36] Conor: Give Me More.

[14:36] Claudia: Well, again, it's kind of good.

[14:38] Conor: Well, I like a lot of, like, my favorite character- not my favorite characters, but a lot of characters shine better in, like, duets or group numbers, I feel sometimes.

[14:46] Claudia: Like, me against the music is very important to me.

[14:52] Conor: Right.

[14:54] Claudia: Yeah.

[14:55] Conor: So I don't know.

[14:56] Claudia: Okay.

[14:57] Claudia: Yeah.

[14:58] Claudia: That's that.

[14:58] Claudia: Maybe Dinosaur is my favorite, actually.

[15:00] Conor: I love that one. People are haters.

[15:02] Claudia: Dinosaur, yeah. Intimacy, Heather's best vocal.

[15:06] Conor: Of course.

[15:07] Andrew: Wait, what is your favourite, Conor? Or Tolo?

[15:11] Conor: I don't know. Because I'm re-watching Glee at the moment, I don't know.

[15:19] Conor: At the moment, I've got... I've got to say something really, really weird. You know what one of my favourite Kolos is of all time? Pink Houses. I unironically love it.

[15:36] Claudia: Not on streaming.

[15:37] Conor: And not on streaming. And, oh god, it's Laryngitis, isn't it?

[15:43] Claudia: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[15:44] Conor: It's such one of my favourite Kurt lines of all time. And it's not necessarily the line, even though it is a well-crafted line. It's Chris's delivery of it, which I think is very funny. Obviously, he's having a mental breakdown about being straight and getting close to the church or whatever. And he's walking into the corridor with Brittany, and he just passes by a group of people. He's like, hey, guys, just holding hands with Brittany.

[16:07] Conor: Just holding hands with Brittany.

[16:11] Conor: And the Burt line of, like, you left a sign on the door, and I thought it was like a murder mystery, sort of.

[16:18] Claudia: Don't come in, I'm making out with a girl.

[16:23] Conor: I'm making out with a girl downstairs. Um, just really, really great.

[16:28] Andrew: Oh, also, speaking of colos, I saw, Claudia, is Eleanor the Great as a movie on your radar at all?

[16:34] Claudia: Nope.

[16:36] Conor: That's what's coming out?

[16:36] Claudia: That's his new one?

[16:38] Conor: No, that's, uh...

[16:39] Claudia: June Squibb?

[16:40] Conor: June Squibb.

[16:41] Claudia: Okay, yeah.

[16:42] Conor: Scarlett Johansson directorial debut.

[16:44] Claudia: Right, yeah, because it was on the festivals. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[16:47] Conor: Yeah, I saw it yesterday. The colo connection is, um, is, uh, someone in the movie sings I'm Still Here, and obviously, watching it, I'm like, oh, June Squibb, friends with some, the person who sang that in the HitFox show.

[17:03] Claudia: But, uh...

[17:03] Conor: Famously also was in the HitFox show.

[17:06] Claudia: And also was in the HitFox show.

[17:08] Conor: Um, but Eleanor the Great, June Squibb, uh, really, really great movie. Anybody that wants to go...

[17:14] Claudia: Oh, really?

[17:15] Conor: Yeah, I really, I was surprised how much I really enjoyed it. Very, very good.

[17:18] Claudia: I've heard nothing about it, so that's...

[17:20] Conor: Yeah, me neither.

[17:21] Claudia: Yeah, so...

[17:22] Andrew: Cool. Anyway, um, what are we hoping to see out of this damn cup today?

[17:27] Conor: Well, I need, I need to get some rollers through, like, I know this conversation came up last week, but I, I've always been a Rachel girl through and through, you know what I'm like.

[17:37] Claudia: Mmm, you know what I'm like!

[17:40] Conor: You know what I'm like!

[17:42] Claudia: You know me, you know the lore.

[17:44] Conor: And so I need to, I need to help her out, like, and I want to knock maybe a Blolo out, to be honest.

[17:50] Claudia: Oh!

[17:52] Conor: No, I'm not a Blaine girl, so...

[17:56] Claudia: Blaine's eating good.

[17:58] Conor: He's eating real Blolos right now.

[18:00] Claudia: Yeah, let's malnourish him for a bit.

[18:02] Conor: Oh, wow. Let's starve him now.

[18:04] Claudia: Yeah. Um, what do you want, Claudia?

[18:07] Claudia: I'm feeling, like, kind of brain dead, so I want something to wake me up. I need, like, uh, something kind of, maybe like some, a good dance number?

[18:14] Conor: Wake me up Wecast version of Wecast.

[18:17] Claudia: I know that.

[18:17] Conor: That I will walk away from.

[18:19] Claudia: I don't want to see that.

[18:20] Conor: I don't want to see that.

[18:21] Claudia: Okay, so, like, this, this is an impromptu recording. And, like, in my head, I'm like, oh, since it's an impromptu recording, my brain is, like, registering it as, like, nothing crazy can happen.

[18:33] Conor: Right, it's like, this is fake.

[18:35] Claudia: This is, like, not even a real conversation that we're having right now. But, um, and I'm afraid that it's, like, we will regret having done this.

[18:43] Conor: It's okay, we can just, like, pretend it never happened.

[18:45] Claudia: Yeah, that's so true.

[18:47] Conor: That's true.

[18:47] Claudia: I kind of want that.

[18:48] Conor: That's kind of, I kind of want something that's going to be really...

[18:50] Claudia: Yeah, I need a nasty, I really need a nasty competition, like...

[18:56] Conor: I would get up and get a cup of coffee right now, but...

[18:58] Claudia: I'm telling you right now, I just pulled the first song.

[19:01] Conor: It's not gonna, it's not going to be a nasty word competition with this song at the helm.

[19:06] Claudia: Okay, um, watch, watch now this be a song I love.

[19:12] Conor: Watch this be a song I love.

[19:13] Claudia: We did reference it in the first, in this, in this episode already.

[19:18] Conor: Not Dinosaur?

[19:19] Claudia: How will I know?

[19:21] Conor: No.

[19:21] Claudia: It's gonna be something boring.

[19:23] Conor: What do we say is boring?

[19:24] Claudia: Is it, like, Britney?

[19:27] Conor: Britney's on the track.

[19:29] Claudia: We're looking, audio medium, we're looking at the drums.

[19:31] Conor: I mean, there's so much information in this one image.

[19:35] Claudia: Britney's on the track.

[19:37] Conor: Uh, Gimme More.

[19:39] Claudia: Drums, yep, Gimme More did make it to round three, famously.

[19:43] Conor: No.

[19:45] Claudia: He's like, you fucking idiot.

[19:47] Conor: You idiot.

[19:50] Claudia: Um, a boring Britney number.

[19:52] Conor: Just press play.

[19:52] Claudia: It's not boring, it's just unfortunate.

[19:54] Conor: Valerie?

[19:56] Claudia: It is Valerie.

[19:59] Conor: You hate fun.

[20:01] Claudia: I do hate fun. I really do, I'm eating my words right now.

[20:03] Conor: And lesbians, for the record.

[20:06] Claudia: Come on, it's great.

[20:08] Conor: I had fun, I had fun.

[20:09] Claudia: Okay, maybe not great, but it's cute and it's fun. And I wanted dancing, and I got great dancing. This is something we're sleeping on with this numbers. The choreography and the performance of these dancers is absolutely excellent.

[20:22] Conor: Yeah.

[20:22] Claudia: Really?

[20:24] Conor: Yes!

[20:25] Claudia: It's good choreo.

[20:26] Conor: I, uh, can we start with the bad?

[20:29] Claudia: Can we start with the bad?

[20:30] Conor: Fine, fine, fine.

[20:30] Claudia: Yeah, go.

[20:32] Conor: It's the worst Britney look of all time, everything considered.

[20:36] Claudia: Okay, straight and no kissing.

[20:38] Conor: Okay.

[20:38] Claudia: I'm, I'm talking about...

[20:42] Conor: The high ponytail, the high ponytail is awesome, so...

[20:46] Claudia: No, it's not! It's like, girl, we already saw you in the...

[20:50] Conor: We saw you longer than anybody in this show as a cheerio.

[20:54] Claudia: Why, once you get out of the cheerios, first episode back, why do you still have that fucking pony on?

[20:58] Conor: So she could do this!

[20:59] Claudia: So she could do this!

[21:01] Conor: She could do audio-medium, where she's like pulling the hair up.

[21:04] Claudia: I love that part.

[21:05] Conor: I love that part, duh. There's so many great moves in this.

[21:09] Claudia: Okay, sorry. But then also, I'm talking about the hair. I'm talking about the hair, and I'm talking about the outfit, too. The blue, the blue, the blue is pretty.

[21:15] Conor: The blue pants.

[21:16] Claudia: Well, there's like a furry blue something on her.

[21:19] Conor: Or is there something else that's furry on her? And I'm getting confused.

[21:22] Claudia: Was it just the lag? Or some of the, like, or is the editing really bad on this song?

[21:27] Conor: In terms of like, there's a shot of Heather Morris, where the camera is on her for literally six seconds, and her mouth is open.

[21:34] Claudia: Yeah, I also noticed that. I also noticed that.

[21:36] Conor: I've never seen that, really.

[21:39] Claudia: I was confused about whether it was the lag, and then you see it cuts to Diana, and she's doing it.

[21:46] Conor: But that's not the part of the song.

[21:48] Claudia: Oh.

[21:51] Conor: Maybe this is a different part, because I noticed that, like, I didn't see Heather moving her mouth at all until she stood up.

[21:57] Claudia: But there is harmonies.

[21:59] Conor: There are harmonies going on before that happens.

[22:02] Claudia: Yeah.

[22:02] Conor: And her mouth wasn't moving, so I don't know. But yeah.

[22:04] Claudia: Like, for me, this number, I hate to say it. Obviously, I love my girls. There's something about these two episodes of Glee that make me feel really uncomfortable. I don't know why.

[22:14] Conor: I don't know whether it's because I just sense that a lot of those people, and I hate to go there, just would really rather be anywhere else.

[22:26] Claudia: But there, do you know what I'm trying to say? There's just something, I don't know. There's no, there's a vacuum there that is devoid of any joy, and it feels like manufactured happiness.

[22:37] Conor: But when we're focusing on the four people performing here, like the four dancers, they're having fun.

[22:45] Claudia: They all want to be with each other. They are having fun.

[22:47] Conor: Oh, no, they are having fun, and we love them.

[22:49] Claudia: I just-

[22:50] Conor: Gordon's having fun.

[22:52] Claudia: Gordon's having fun.

[22:53] Conor: Yeah.

[22:54] Claudia: He was lifting Kevin's legs out of his chair, which was really funny.

[22:57] Conor: Jenna was having fun.

[22:59] Claudia: You know me. I'm always going to cluck to see what Jenna's doing.

[23:01] Conor: Making a beeline for Miss Ashkwitz.

[23:05] Claudia: Yeah. Um, Kristen was having fun.

[23:07] Conor: You go, girl.

[23:08] Claudia: She was seated, though.

[23:10] Conor: She was seated at the end.

[23:11] Claudia: Everyone else is dancing, and she's just like, I'm sad.

[23:14] Conor: All right, I'm done.

[23:16] Claudia: All right.

[23:17] Conor: What did this-

[23:17] Claudia: I saw y'all do this at Central, so I'm over it.

[23:19] Conor: Winnigan's brushing.

[23:22] Claudia: Mountain Stars, Mr. Roboto.

[23:23] Conor: It was us.

[23:24] Claudia: Yeah.

[23:24] Conor: Yeah, of course.

[23:26] Claudia: Which was, it was an oopsie to me. I love Skylar Austin. Shout out to that guy.

[23:29] Conor: Shout out to that guy, just on that, the damn pod.

[23:33] Claudia: Oh my god, because it came up recently on my TikTok, guys, tag yourself. Which part of the Pitch Perfect, since you've been gone, which audition are you?

[23:42] Conor: Oh, I really liked when you said that.

[23:44] Claudia: I'm the guy that goes, bow, bow, bow.

[23:49] Conor: Oh, I'm-

[23:51] Claudia: Oh, I love-

[23:52] Conor: I think that you said this, Connor, but I love-

[23:55] Claudia: Hi, I'm Stacey. I love Cuticle Care and the E-Network.

[23:58] Conor: Cuticle Care and the E-Network.

[23:59] Claudia: Yeah, that was so iconic.

[24:01] Conor: It's so great. And then, like, also, like, Stacey, like, randomly, like, not in Pitch Perfect 3.

[24:05] Claudia: Ah, criminal.

[24:07] Conor: Yeah, I also like when she sings and she goes, I get what I want.

[24:12] Claudia: Yeah.

[24:13] Conor: I don't know, she's awesome.

[24:17] Claudia: I, do you know the black girl in it who I love? Not, not the, the, she's just in the audition scene, I believe, where she's like-

[24:25] Conor: Oh, yeah.

[24:25] Claudia: Yeah, yeah.

[24:27] Conor: Yeah.

[24:30] Claudia: Obviously, the Bad and Flat Performing Lives gives me such a rush. It's so iconic as well.

[24:35] Conor: And also, Audio Medium, Connor just did cross-eye when he said that line.

[24:40] Claudia: I think that really added to the performance.

[24:42] Conor: Thank you so much for pointing that little detail out.

[24:44] Claudia: I think it came across in an audio fashion, but yeah, yeah.

[24:48] Conor: You're a grown kid, you took the time.

[24:51] Claudia: I took the time. Um, do we have anything else to say about Valerie Season 5?

[24:58] Conor: Which part of the Valerie Season 5 performance are you? Tag yourself.

[25:01] Claudia: Oh, tag yourself. I'm, of course, pulling the ponytail up.

[25:06] Conor: It's fine.

[25:06] Claudia: I'm Diana going, that's me.

[25:09] Conor: She's having, she's kind of having fun.

[25:11] Claudia: Her, they, why did they dress her like that? Like, it is crazy.

[25:15] Conor: The pearls and the, like, paisley and the prints that she's wearing.

[25:20] Claudia: She is wild. I just don't understand.

[25:22] Conor: I love the canon that, um, true skank, true version of Quinn is skank Quinn.

[25:29] Claudia: Yeah.

[25:30] Conor: But that, whatever came up in the recent episode and like everything else is just like a front because the only reason she dyed her hair was to get that back or whatever. I think that is so funny.

[25:40] Claudia: Well, I do think that like with, in the character right now, she's still putting on a front for a bit.

[25:45] Conor: Exactly, exactly. And it's been like eight months.

[25:49] Claudia: This is like right after they graduated.

[25:52] Conor: So it really hasn't been that long.

[25:53] Claudia: Why did she age so much from her senior year of high school?

[26:01] Conor: What is that brand called? The bag.

[26:03] Claudia: That was like, like really popular. I feel like when we were in high school, like the, that print.

[26:08] Conor: Ooh, what was that called?

[26:08] Claudia: Is it Vera Bradley?

[26:10] Conor: Vera Bradley?

[26:11] Claudia: I didn't notice.

[26:11] Conor: Did she have a bag?

[26:13] Claudia: No, but like, I think that like Vera Bradley is kind of like the, kind of like vision board.

[26:16] Conor: Yes, I agree.

[26:18] Claudia: Yes, I agree. Dedicated, you took the time.

[26:23] Conor: I will say that when this was like, just the spoilers around this episode, 100 really woke something up in me in 2013. And I remember finding out that they would be doing Valerie and it would be a Britannia duet. And I was like, oh, goody, when Glee does songs another time, they usually do something different. I can't wait to see what I only can hope is a romantic, slowed down version of Valerie, because Britannia doesn't get that ever. And then we got this and I'm like, yeah, I'm glad that we have it. I'm glad that we have like, they're being cute in public.

[27:00] Claudia: Yeah, just the like, doing the partner dance is so cute.

[27:04] Conor: Yeah.

[27:05] Claudia: But I wanted a...

[27:06] Conor: I just don't know who streamed this.

[27:06] Claudia: Since I've come on home.

[27:09] Conor: Well, my body's been a mess.

[27:14] Claudia: Because it's like, it really has been a mess since she came home.

[27:19] Conor: And I miss your blonde Cheerio pony.

[27:24] Claudia: And I miss your blonde hair.

[27:29] Conor: And the way you like to dress exactly like me.

[27:34] Claudia: And I don't like the way you think, or horribly for that matter.

[27:38] Conor: Or really poorly.

[27:40] Claudia: I think there's also, because she's wearing this god-awful fit when she is doing the outdoor chess scene.

[27:49] Conor: That is such a good scene.

[27:51] Claudia: Wait, the wash?

[27:52] Conor: It's so good.

[27:54] Claudia: In 100.

[27:56] Conor: Knight to E2.

[27:57] Claudia: Oh.

[28:01] Conor: And I think that there's something to be done there with chess, Broadway.

[28:06] Claudia: Yes.

[28:07] Conor: There's something there.

[28:08] Claudia: Do like your Oscars thing, but do it for like, all the Tony's already happened. Do it for next season's Tony's.

[28:14] Conor: There we go.

[28:15] Claudia: There we go. Can I use this opportunity to talk about, no, I definitely have done this already. Just talk about my favorite Britney plot line, which is the kiki.

[28:24] Conor: Oh my god, iconic.

[28:26] Claudia: And when she goes...

[28:27] Conor: Sedenta.

[28:27] Claudia: Exactly. When she goes, would you like another sedenta? I just like, my friend Megan and I would call it that all the time. And every time we're like hyper, we're like, I swear to God, I just had a sedenta.

[28:39] Conor: It's so perfect.

[28:41] Claudia: No, when she invents her own language, she's saying thank you to Principal Figgins in the office and she's like, guzzle gorp. I remember the day after that episode aired, I was in genetics class and my teacher was like, oh, and I don't want to hear you guys speak in your own language, like you're Britney on Glee. And I remember being like, I'm clocking your Glee.

[29:07] Conor: Oh my God.

[29:07] Claudia: She's a Gleek, your honor.

[29:08] Conor: Oh my God. Do you know what?

[29:10] Claudia: Oh my God. You just have to trigger in a really scary moment in my head.

[29:14] Conor: Oh no.

[29:14] Claudia: Oh no. I was in school at the time and we had like, I don't know, we had like a free class. I think one of our teachers was sick or something like that. And like they had a sub, I can't remember what it was, but she handed out a crossword puzzle, like just be like, oh, do this crossword puzzle. It's fun. And one of the clues was blank and Rachel, TV couple.

[29:37] Conor: Oh, and I was like, oh my God, guys.

[29:40] Claudia: I know who it is, Finn, fucking Ross and Rachel.

[29:44] Conor: And so they put Finn in listening to the one guy in the class. It came up that it was Ross and Rachel. I'm like the biggest bully in the class was like, okay, who knows what free cross is? And he was like, Finn and Rachel. And even the sub teacher was like.

[30:00] Andrew: No, Ross and Rachel, like, get with the program. Oh my god. Oh, that's really perfect. That's really sad. Can I tell you that I just googled Glee Satenta and a bunch of pictures of Santana came up. Satenta. Wait, Claudia, if you google Glee, if you google Glee Wiki, who is the picture beside, if you google Glee Wiki, who's the picture beside that comes up beside Glee Wiki, if you know what I mean, on Google, just try that. Because I'm getting Rachel. I'm getting Rachel and she's, and Andrew's getting Quinn. I have season six Quinn. Yeah, season. Yeah. Why is it so weird? I think it might, it could be a region thing. That's so weird, though. Depending where you are. Depending where you are in the world. It's like Netflix advertising.

[30:49] Claudia: That's literally what I said, that I was like, I think it's like the Netflix thing where it's like, they will like show the different cover photo based on like who the user is.

[30:57] Andrew: How would Glee Wiki know that?

[31:02] Claudia: Yeah, but how would they? Glee Wiki knows. They know. They know. Whilst we're on the topic of like Glee Wiki, I just want to say history of Glee, who I love, I need to find out, and I'm saying this in recorded fashion. So when I listen back, I'll remind myself, I need to find out if history of Glee is an Irish girly.

[31:18] Conor: Wait, why? Why do you think so?

[31:23] Claudia: Because I remember that she put up history of on this day, in whatever, Glee Live played their final tour in Dublin, Ireland. And then she was like, of which I was at. Yeah, I didn't necessarily mean she's Irish. But like, that would be fucking iconic, because one would think that if she was Irish, I'd have clocked her by now. Right out on the streets.

[31:41] Andrew: You're, you're almost like too ready to say gender for history of Glee in a way that I feel like you're kind of like throwing off the scent in your history of Glee.

[31:51] Claudia: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm this day in Lea Michele history or whatever. I want to find that account.

[32:02] Andrew: Andrew is every Rachel Berry outfit.

[32:06] Claudia: Every Rachel Berry outfit is like, they're finally like in season six. And I'm like, so what am I going to do when this this account is over? Why can't I find Lea Michele on this day? What is it called? I'm going to her DMs.

[32:16] Conor: Daily. The only fashion of Glee, the only fashion of Glee item I ever remember actively looking up was season four, episode 17, famously Guilty Pleasures, when Rachel and Brody sing Creep. And I looked up the T-shirt that Rachel wore as she's running down the corridor. She sings, it's literally a black T-shirt with, is a black T-shirt with blue sleeves or a blue T-shirt with black? It's one of those. And it was like $700. I was like, oh my God, that is iconic. Like you go, girl.

[32:49] Claudia: You go, girl.

[32:53] Conor: Last week, it was literally right after the Alison and Whitney recording. Elias and I went to a thrift shop in the area and we saw I clocked it. I clocked it immediately. And I was like, oh my God, that's the dress that Vocal Adrenaline wears. When they perform Rehab in the pilot. And I didn't include this in the story, but when I like looked inside the dress, it's from a costume house in California.

[33:20] Claudia: No, it is not.

[33:22] Conor: I'm not kidding you. I can show you the picture, like the tag inside. I would have bought that.

[33:26] Claudia: It was $150. And I was just like, I-

[33:31] Conor: In a thrift shop.

[33:33] Claudia: Yeah. I was like, if it was like, if it was like $30, I would, it would have been mine.

[33:38] Conor: Oh yeah.

[33:39] Claudia: Yeah.

[33:39] Conor: Same.

[33:39] Claudia: That would have been your Halloween costume.

[33:44] Conor: Um, but really iconic.

[33:46] Claudia: Really iconic.

[33:46] Conor: Stands to reason it's screen used.

[33:48] Claudia: Yeah. Um, was it your sizing, though? That's the thing.

[33:53] Conor: Yeah. And your color. How did it look with your complexion?

[33:57] Claudia: Uh, I guess I need to go back. I'm afraid if I go back and it's not there. Sounds like a Legion question, Claudia.

[34:02] Conor: Yeah. I'm afraid that if I go back-

[34:05] Claudia: It wasn't really your color, was it?

[34:07] Conor: It wasn't your color, huh? Blue really isn't that for you.

[34:12] Claudia: Like, if it's not there anymore, then I feel, I'll feel like really sad. I just want it to always be there, you know?

[34:16] Conor: Yeah, it should be there. It shouldn't, yeah. Don't take it for granted, though. Anyway, who, uh, ValerieSeason5, any final words?

[34:26] Claudia: You made me shut up when I was trying to be positive, and now I forgot what I was saying. So, just all the dancing is really good and such, and it's nice when lesbians have fun.

[34:39] Conor: Is it the exact same choreography?

[34:43] Claudia: No.

[34:44] Conor: I mean, they're doing some of the same stuff.

[34:47] Claudia: They did do this.

[34:48] Conor: Audio medium, the point over where, like, she's, like, kind of-

[34:50] Claudia: Yeah.

[34:51] Conor: Kind of twerking with her boobs, almost.

[34:53] Claudia: Yeah.

[34:54] Conor: Yeah.

[34:54] Claudia: I don't know.

[34:55] Conor: Yeah.

[34:56] Claudia: I mean, I enjoy it. I just, I, it's, it's tough for me to believe.

[35:08] Conor: No! No, Connor, no! No!

[35:12] Claudia: Cross out again! Cross out again!

[35:15] Conor: It's tough for me to believe, and I'm so open for correction, because I know these people must exist, that they're like, oh my god, I'm gonna stream Valerie. Like, does anyone go for season five first? That's just tough for me to believe.

[35:28] Claudia: It's hard for me to be inside the brain of a person like that.

[35:31] Conor: No, but it is!

[35:32] Claudia: Why can't it be both?

[35:34] Conor: No, it can be both, but it's just, like, first preference. They're the same song.

[35:37] Claudia: Yeah.

[35:39] Conor: I like hearing them, I like hearing them-

[35:40] Claudia: No, I don't think they're the same song, though.

[35:42] Conor: They, they sound different.

[35:45] Claudia: Is the orchestration not different in season five?

[35:48] Conor: It doesn't sound the same to me.

[35:49] Claudia: It's a little bit more, like, party.

[35:52] Conor: Oh yeah, hands in the air. Everyone put their hands in the air.

[35:57] Claudia: Um, yeah, it is party, though. Like the, I don't know, like the beginning. It's just like, they're having fun.

[36:03] Conor: Yeah, I feel like this was, it was a competition between Val-

[36:08] Claudia: Was it Valerie and Adele mashup?

[36:11] Conor: Yeah. I feel like I had said this afterwards in a grievance conversation of just, like, Valerie is so, like, ubiquitous as, like, a big Santana moment that I, like, kind of forget about it sometimes. And it's as big of one for me, and not in the sense that I don't like it, but it just, like, doesn't hold as much weight as, like, a Songbird or a Mine. Um, so, I don't know. I kind of like this, this version where there's, like, another element to it of, like, them being cutesy.

[36:44] Claudia: Yeah.

[36:45] Conor: Not that I like it more, but I think that it does bring something else to the table.

[36:50] Claudia: Yeah, and I don't want to say-

[36:51] Conor: Please.

[36:52] Claudia: I think, well, I, for one, voted for this song twice already.

[36:57] Conor: Oh, true.

[36:58] Claudia: And I'm like, listen, I think that that's, it's ran its course for me. That I'm like, I like this song, but now it's time to wrap it up.

[37:03] Conor: Have we gotten Crush yet?

[37:09] Claudia: No.

[37:09] Conor: And that's gonna be next.

[37:10] Claudia: Let's see.

[37:11] Conor: That's gonna be next. I'm like, I'm ready for a song to be, like, plausible to be, to beat.

[37:19] Claudia: Uh-oh.

[37:20] Conor: We have something from the third episode of the damn series.

[37:23] Claudia: Oh my god.

[37:24] Conor: Okay, it's not Bust Your Windows, is it?

[37:26] Claudia: Well, and what if it was?

[37:28] Conor: It definitely is.

[37:29] Claudia: I-

[37:33] Conor: Is it?

[37:33] Claudia: Hi, lesbians.

[37:34] Conor: It is.

[37:35] Claudia: Yay!

[37:35] Conor: Oh my god, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay.

[37:38] Claudia: Iconic first thumbnail.

[37:39] Conor: Oh my god, the look.

[37:41] Claudia: The red jacket.

[37:42] Conor: It's fucking iconic.

[37:43] Claudia: She is mad. Wavy bang is so good.

[37:45] Conor: Yeah, here we go.

[37:48] Claudia: You busted my heart.

[37:49] Conor: Heart.

[37:50] Claudia: You busted my heart.

[37:51] Conor: It's so, so special.

[37:53] Claudia: You wore a corset to second period yesterday.

[37:59] Conor: I have a gayvention.

[38:00] Claudia: That's a gay intervention.

[38:01] Conor: Intervention.

[38:02] Claudia: The gay lesbo.

[38:04] Conor: Gay lesbo.

[38:06] Claudia: Rachel is such a mess. I love her.

[38:10] Conor: Iconic.

[38:12] Claudia: Can I just say, you're telling me she needs to go to booty camp?

[38:18] Conor: It's-

[38:18] Claudia: Are you fucking kidding me?

[38:20] Conor: Are you fucking kidding me?

[38:21] Claudia: And exactly two seasons later to the episode, this is when booty camp comes in. It's all-

[38:26] Conor: Ridiculous.

[38:27] Claudia: It's all- We're all Cynthia Erivo fingers.

[38:29] Conor: It's mine, yeah.

[38:31] Claudia: We're all linking it up here. It's a psy-op.

[38:33] Conor: It's a psychological warfare.

[38:34] Claudia: And this is just not right. I really was- This was history, etc. I'm so glad that Mercedes did have to go to booty camp though, because it yields one of the best Quinn lines in the entire series, where she's like, where Mercedes is like, I'm sorry I slept in late. And Diana's just like, it's 4.30 in the afternoon.

[38:55] Conor: It's so good.

[38:55] Claudia: But like, I was like really paying attention to Amber dance here in a way that like, I don't think I really fully understood that like, she really showed up so early on in the series, choreo-wise. It's not just our movements. Like, she has the rhythm. She has the full body movement. She has the timing down. Like, that is not someone who just like, I don't know, like, parks and barks. Like, fuck off.

[39:19] Conor: Was she ever- Especially-

[39:20] Claudia: Was Amber ever a dancer at any point? Like, prior to Glee?

[39:23] Conor: That's a good question. Did she do dance? Because I don't know the answer to that question.

[39:26] Claudia: I don't believe so. I think, well, she was like one of the younger cast members. So I don't know what kind of dance history that she would have had. But obviously, Dancing With The Stars winner. She was dancing alongside Dancing With The Stars loser, Heather Morris.

[39:42] Conor: Heather Morris.

[39:43] Claudia: I was obsessed with Dancing With The Stars as a child. And that was the straw that broke the camel's back. They kicked Heather Morris off. I never watched another episode.

[39:51] Conor: I feel like-

[39:52] Claudia: I swear to God.

[39:53] Conor: I feel like whenever it's a Heather Morris-esque person on those shows, they gotta go.

[40:00] Claudia: It's true.

[40:01] Conor: Because they're like, people are like, oh my god, she's a professional dancer. Like, it's so unfair. Do you know what I mean?

[40:06] Claudia: There's a line. There's a line that like, she unfortunately went over the line. If it's a Zendaya situation, where she was also a professional dancer, technically.

[40:15] Conor: But she was like 16.

[40:17] Claudia: Wait, Zendaya was on Dancing With The Stars.

[40:19] Conor: Yes, and she won.

[40:21] Claudia: She won? Maybe not.

[40:24] Conor: Yes, wait, wait, wait, wait.

[40:25] Claudia: This is before.

[40:26] Conor: She was on it before and she was like 16. And it was like, I was a child. Iconic.

[40:30] Claudia: And I loved- I have no idea. Because I loved Dancing With The Stars. I loved Shake It Up. Like, that was my time. And, oh, she didn't win.

[40:39] Conor: Dang.

[40:40] Claudia: Sorry, Z. 2014.

[40:43] Conor: 2014.

[40:45] Claudia: Again, this is not to take the focus away from Amber. But if you look really closely in this number, sometimes it's so funny if you watch really closely. Because you can see Leah and Corey just at the end. Like, I bust your windows out. And then all you see is Leah with a sponge, like.

[41:01] Conor: I did not watch that.

[41:02] Claudia: That's so funny.

[41:04] Conor: I didn't see them at all.

[41:05] Claudia: I was wondering when they zoomed out. I was just thinking about that one, like, zoomed out of, like, after she busts the windows out of the car.

[41:15] Conor: Exactly.

[41:15] Claudia: I think that's what that one is. I was like, where's Kurt? Like, what is he doing? Is he just standing like this?

[41:21] Conor: Isn't he just watching?

[41:24] Claudia: Because I didn't see him. Like, I wanted to see him. I thought there's, like, a shot of him just, like, just standing at the car, just, like, mouth agape.

[41:31] Conor: Yeah, that's what I just did. He's just like, oh my God.

[41:36] Claudia: She busted the windows out of my car.

[41:37] Conor: She did. She really did do that. On a recent rewatch of the entire series, my ADHD brain became really fascinated with the wealth of all of these characters and trying to, like, rank them. Because obviously, you know, this car is obviously a lot of money. But we know that Burt is, like, a mechanic or whatever. But then I'm like, wait, I feel like Rachel Berry's parents are relatively wealthy. And then I was like, and then I fell into this rabbit hole of being like, I need to rank where these characters fall in wealth.

[42:07] Claudia: I've done the same exact exercise.

[42:08] Conor: Didn't this happen in a certain era of Gleek of the Week?

[42:13] Claudia: I feel like everyone would get on the pod and be like, I want to chime in on this conversation.

[42:17] Conor: I think it might have been. I feel like Brittany doesn't have that much money.

[42:21] Claudia: Yeah.

[42:23] Conor: Not a tooth doctor, a real one.

[42:23] Claudia: I think it was me that brought it off, because I was on this front.

[42:26] Conor: Oh yeah. Maybe you brought it up.

[42:27] Claudia: I think it was me and Ian, maybe.

[42:30] Conor: No, but, like, I have done the exercise of, like, assigning different Hunger Games tributes. Like, who would be District 1?

[42:38] Claudia: Because I think for District 1, I think that the two tributes would be, it would be Kurt and Sugar.

[42:44] Conor: Wait, what?

[42:47] Claudia: I forgot.

[42:47] Conor: No?

[42:48] Claudia: I forgot what district. Because I don't think they're in the same tax bracket. But then who else would, like, Sebastian?

[42:56] Conor: Do we not think Sebastian? Like, of all the boys, who has the most money?

[43:00] Claudia: Oh, because it has to be a boy and a girl. We have no idea about Blaine, except that his mom is Gina Gershon.

[43:10] Conor: I don't know any Hunger Games lore, unfortunately.

[43:12] Claudia: I just know that they were supposed to be, like, wealthy.

[43:15] Conor: Yeah, all you need to know is that District 1 is the wealthiest, and then it goes down to District 12, which is Katniss, Jennifer Lawrence.

[43:23] Claudia: That's the Marley.

[43:25] Conor: And who would be?

[43:27] Claudia: That's the Marley.

[43:28] Conor: Sam!

[43:28] Claudia: Marley, Sam.

[43:29] Conor: Yeah.

[43:31] Claudia: Yeah, yeah.

[43:33] Conor: So anyway.

[43:34] Claudia: Well, Jake, as well. I think he'd be, like, District 11.

[43:39] Conor: Jake, well, he grew up on food stumps, did he not?

[43:42] Claudia: Yeah.

[43:42] Conor: Yeah.

[43:43] Claudia: Yeah. Who else? And then-

[43:44] Conor: Did someone else also die from food stumps?

[43:46] Claudia: And then, like, upper and middle class, like, well, obviously Sugar is canonically a multi-millionaire, but then you've got Quinn Blaine, Santana.

[43:55] Conor: Yeah, isn't Santana up there?

[43:57] Claudia: Well, Mercedes, that is a dentist.

[43:59] Conor: Yeah.

[43:59] Claudia: Yeah. And then, I feel like middle of the pack, then you've got- Oh, well, Rachel, I would reckon, with them.

[44:07] Conor: I would think Rachel's up there, kind of.

[44:09] Claudia: Yeah, Rachel's probably, like, beneath- She's beneath Quinn, I think.

[44:13] Conor: Right?

[44:14] Claudia: Yeah.

[44:15] Conor: And obviously, Sue.

[44:18] Claudia: Sue has her own condo.

[44:20] Conor: Yeah, Sue is-

[44:21] Claudia: That's true.

[44:22] Conor: Welcome, welcome.

[44:24] Claudia: Yeah. Sue's effy.

[44:30] Conor: Um, wait, I need to say something about Bust Your Windows, please.

[44:33] Claudia: What?

[44:34] Conor: This is not the time or place.

[44:36] Claudia: Oh, I'm going to take the opportunity. When I listened to this full MP3, I was, like, waiting. I was like, is it going to be in the MP4? And it's not. Maybe you both know what I'm talking about, but maybe you won't. There is a voice crack that Amber does in the MP3, which I think is, like, endearing. And it's, like, not a bad-

[45:00] Conor: I forget, like, I'll put it in the carousel, but it's like, she, like, does, like, she hits a note and then it goes into another.

[45:06] Claudia: It's, I don't know my music, but, like, yes.

[45:10] Conor: I truly, and I'm not even being sarcastic, I learn something new from this podcast every week, literally.

[45:15] Andrew: Do you want to listen to it right now?

[45:17] Conor: Yeah. Yeah.

[45:18] Claudia: Play, press play.

[45:25] Andrew: Did you hear it?

[45:26] Conor: Kind of. I heard like a dip, like a bit of a dip.

[45:28] Claudia: But I think that I deserve to smile. Here.

[45:35] Conor: Oh!

[45:36] Claudia: What is that?

[45:37] Conor: That sounded like a glitch.

[45:39] Claudia: I thought that was like a, that's actually kind of, like, scary.

[45:42] Conor: It's not a voice crack, actually, now that I'm, like, really studying it.

[45:46] Claudia: No, it's, that's a glitch, right?

[45:48] Conor: That is so weird. I've never heard that before.

[45:51] Claudia: Yeah, that's crazy. Anyway.

[45:53] Conor: If you're ever having a human experience and you're like, am I the first person to have ever noticed this thing?

[46:00] Claudia: I feel like that's an example.

[46:02] Conor: Glee, the music volume one was the number one album still to this day.

[46:05] Claudia: And so people have noticed this before.

[46:08] Conor: I feel confident about it.

[46:11] Claudia: It's not just me.

[46:11] Conor: Really? Because when I brought up the, remember, this is a different situation.

[46:16] Claudia: But when I brought up the Shay Mitchell being in Womanizer discourse, I feel like no one was talking about that.

[46:22] Conor: No, wait, Claudia needs to actually have a rebuttal.

[46:26] Claudia: It's not her.

[46:28] Conor: No, I know it's not her.

[46:30] Claudia: And I tell you why I know it's not her.

[46:31] Conor: Because it would be so, like, fucking dumb for, and that's what you really missed to be recapping this episode.

[46:38] Claudia: And for Jenna to not mention that.

[46:40] Conor: Yeah.

[46:42] Claudia: What does that mean?

[46:43] Conor: Because Jenna was in the scene.

[46:45] Claudia: Oh, and she would have been like, Shay Mitchell was there.

[46:48] Conor: Oh my god, Shay Mitchell was there.

[46:49] Claudia: It was great.

[46:50] Conor: Surely.

[46:51] Claudia: Was it?

[46:51] Conor: But someone is friends with Ashley Benson also.

[46:53] Claudia: Oh, Kevin.

[46:54] Conor: Kevin's friends with Ashley Benson.

[46:55] Claudia: Kevin's friends with Ashley Benson.

[46:57] Conor: Yeah.

[46:57] Claudia: But I don't know.

[46:59] Conor: I could see it's in the realm of possibilities that Jenna is just like, that's just Shay.

[47:04] Claudia: That's my friend Shay.

[47:05] Conor: That's just Shay.

[47:06] Claudia: That's just Shay.

[47:07] Conor: I'm not even, I'm not even like bringing it up right now.

[47:10] Claudia: That's just Shay.

[47:11] Conor: You know, I'm just going to do Tina.

[47:14] Claudia: Right.

[47:14] Conor: I'm just going to do Tina.

[47:16] Claudia: And I was thinking about that after we had that conversation, Conor, you and Allison and I, that I'm just doing Tina does have a second meaning.

[47:28] Conor: It does.

[47:28] Claudia: A kind of bad meaning.

[47:29] Conor: And to this day, we're not sure what she means.

[47:32] Claudia: A bad meaning.

[47:34] Conor: Do you know what Tina means?

[47:37] Claudia: Are you asking me?

[47:38] Conor: No, I don't know what Tina means and I'm scared.

[47:42] Claudia: Conor, would you like to reveal?

[47:43] Conor: I'm just doing Tina.

[47:45] Claudia: Well, I actually don't.

[47:46] Conor: It's a drug, but I actually don't know what it is because it's more of an American thing.

[47:49] Claudia: Tina is a drug.

[47:51] Conor: It's meth.

[47:52] Claudia: Oh, it's meth.

[47:53] Conor: Yeah, I'm just doing Tina.

[47:55] Claudia: I'm just doing Tina.

[47:56] Conor: Casual.

[47:58] Claudia: That's so funny.

[48:00] Conor: Bust your windows.

[48:00] Claudia: I do want to say that, like, I think that people are, like, talking about, like, their favorite, like, mer-solas and everything.

[48:05] Conor: And they're, they're pointing to their ain't no ways they're talking about their and I'm telling you's.

[48:09] Claudia: And sure.

[48:11] Conor: Yeah, obviously those are, those are the hits.

[48:13] Claudia: This is the Valerie one.

[48:14] Conor: This is, this is what I was thinking as well.

[48:16] Claudia: Is this a contender for your favorite mer-solo?

[48:20] Conor: Yeah, I think so.

[48:21] Claudia: Because I think it, like, it really has so much because I also completely forgot about the choreography.

[48:26] Conor: Yeah.

[48:26] Claudia: That, like, it's a great song.

[48:28] Conor: It's her first, like, actual solo on in the series.

[48:31] Claudia: It's like, so there's that iconic-ness around it.

[48:35] Conor: Um, the vocals sound great.

[48:37] Claudia: Triple threat.

[48:38] Conor: And also, it's just like, what a dumb plot line, too.

[48:42] Claudia: That it's like, she busts the windows out of her car, out of Kurt's car, and then sings bust your windows.

[48:47] Conor: Just dumb and perfect.

[48:49] Claudia: It's perfect.

[48:50] Conor: It's perfect.

[48:50] Claudia: It's having the Valerie effect where I take it for granted.

[48:53] Conor: And maybe because it's like the first big one.

[48:55] Claudia: And maybe it's because, like, kind of a layman's glee song.

[49:00] Conor: Like, people know about this one.

[49:03] Claudia: And I feel like that's, but it's not even like, I, I don't even think that people are, like, not thinking of bust your windows because it feels, like, too basic.

[49:08] Conor: I think it's just like, we literally, like, take it for granted.

[49:10] Claudia: We take it for granted.

[49:14] Conor: It is gay culture at the moment.

[49:16] Claudia: I think, my favorite Mer Solo, I think, obviously changes.

[49:20] Conor: But I, do you know what?

[49:22] Claudia: I was thinking about this just yesterday, actually, because I was watching the episode.

[49:26] Conor: I think my favorite Mer Solo is beautiful.

[49:29] Claudia: It's so good.

[49:31] Conor: People are not talking about it.

[49:32] Claudia: No, and again, I know I say that all the time.

[49:35] Conor: Genuinely, no one is talking about beautiful.

[49:37] Claudia: Why is that?

[49:39] Conor: It's so weird.

[49:40] Claudia: Again, is it a context thing?

[49:41] Conor: It's really, really awesome.

[49:43] Claudia: Awesome.

[49:44] Conor: Like, I nearly cried when I was watching it yesterday.

[49:46] Claudia: I'm not gonna lie.

[49:47] Conor: I hadn't, I hadn't watched it in a minute.

[49:49] Claudia: And I was like, this is so lovely.

[49:51] Conor: Her walking out and then, like, Brittany, is it Kurt that, like, goes over to Brittany and is like, what is she doing?

[49:58] Claudia: And then Brittany shrugs.

[50:00] Conor: Ah!

[50:02] Claudia: It's just like, the entire, like, setup to the scene is just so perfect.

[50:05] Conor: I really, really love.

[50:07] Claudia: And then Sue, like, leaning over to the guy and being still, still building the tension.

[50:16] Conor: Bust Your Windows, just really, really iconic.

[50:19] Claudia: I, like, I have, like, I think I would say Bust Your Windows, maybe top Mer Solo for me.

[50:23] Conor: And then, like, Disco Inferno right underneath.

[50:27] Claudia: Just, we have to be talking about Disco Inferno.

[50:29] Conor: We need to be talking about Disco Inferno.

[50:31] Claudia: So.

[50:32] Conor: To my ass.

[50:37] Claudia: Do we want to, do we want to vote on this?

[50:40] Conor: Between Valerie Season 5 and Bust Your Windows?

[50:42] Claudia: Why don't we all say it in unison?

[50:45] Conor: Okay.

[50:46] Claudia: Three, two, one.

[50:49] All: Mr. Bottle Counting Stars.

[50:52] Conor: Iconic.

[50:54] Claudia: I knew that someone was gonna say something there.

[50:57] Conor: I knew someone was gonna say something is the thing.

[50:59] Claudia: It's gonna be Bust Your Windows.

[51:01] Conor: Okay.

[51:01] Claudia: I wanted to, I wanted to make sure, Claudia, that you were actually casting a vote because Elijah would come after your ass and be like, what did you actually vote for?

[51:09] Conor: Yeah.

[51:09] Claudia: What did you mean?

[51:11] Conor: I'm at Bust Your Windows.

[51:12] Claudia: It's not a hard competition, even though I do like it.

[51:14] Conor: I'm glad that Bust Your Windows is safe.

[51:16] Claudia: Of course.

[51:17] Conor: Second and final competition.

[51:19] Claudia: Here we go.

[51:24] Conor: Ah, I, like, I, I said, like, I wanted, like, a.

[51:28] Claudia: Oh, no.

[51:30] Conor: It's like, we're not going to have a hard competition this week.

[51:33] Claudia: Oh, okay.

[51:35] Conor: And that's good.

[51:36] Claudia: But like, I kind of wanted one now.

[51:37] Conor: Just put it back in and pretend it didn't happen.

[51:40] Claudia: No, we need to actually have a discourse.

[51:42] Conor: I think this is the safe group of people to have discourse about this song in particular.

[51:47] Claudia: I'm scared.

[51:49] Conor: You should be.

[51:49] Claudia: It's because it's from, I think, the scariest episode of the series.

[51:53] Conor: Audio Media.

[51:55] Claudia: Wait, I recognize that jacket.

[51:57] Conor: That's Ryder.

[51:59] Claudia: It is Ryder.

[52:02] Conor: Is this not Shooting Star?

[52:04] Claudia: It is Shooting Star.

[52:06] Conor: Your song.

[52:08] Claudia: It is your song.

[52:09] Conor: I hate, I hate this one.

[52:10] Claudia: It's not my song.

[52:11] Conor: I hate it so much.

[52:15] Claudia: Why did I think that the song ended with, oh, whoo.

[52:20] Conor: Maybe, like, the MP3 does.

[52:22] Claudia: I think the MP3 might end with a, oh, whoo.

[52:26] Conor: Am I making this up?

[52:28] Claudia: I don't know.

[52:28] Conor: That was excruciating.

[52:30] Claudia: OK, can we start the conversation?

[52:33] Conor: No, that was excruciating.

[52:37] Claudia: Can we start with, like, nice things?

[52:39] Conor: We'll get to the mean things.

[52:42] Claudia: I like Ryder's voice a lot.

[52:44] Conor: I really do like Ryder's voice a lot.

[52:47] Claudia: Conor, I don't know if you're telling the truth.

[52:49] Conor: It's fine.

[52:50] Claudia: It's just like, what the fuck?

[52:52] Conor: It's Audio Media, but it looks like she's about to go on strike.

[52:55] Claudia: I'm so mad.

[52:56] Conor: I'm so mad.

[52:58] Claudia: Like, oh, God.

[53:00] Conor: I like Ryder's voice.

[53:03] Claudia: I have things to say that I can't say online.

[53:06] Conor: I can't.

[53:07] Claudia: I can't say it, actually.

[53:08] Conor: No, say it.

[53:10] Claudia: You're going to tell me to not say it.

[53:12] Conor: Wait, say it, because I don't know what you're going to say.

[53:13] Claudia: I'm just going to cut it out.

[53:14] Conor: Well, I don't know if you know what I'm going to say.

[53:16] Claudia: He just signed a deal with the devil.

[53:18] Conor: Like, I don't know.

[53:19] Claudia: Like, I do know.

[53:22] Conor: But I don't know whose dick he was sucking to be on this show.

[53:27] Claudia: Oh, my God.

[53:29] Conor: And win Glee Project.

[53:32] Claudia: He's a great singer, but he is boring and he did not have the Amber Riley triple threat in that everything he did with his physicality was so stupid to watch.

[53:45] Conor: And it pisses me off.

[53:46] Claudia: And it's like we could have we could have gotten the newbie season for just not him.

[53:51] Conor: And maybe we could have had more Britney.

[53:52] Claudia: Maybe we could have had more like, like.

[53:57] Conor: Ryder does feel like he's so annoying and I hate it.

[54:00] Claudia: He does feel like he's in a different show.

[54:03] Conor: It's like, hey, yeah, it is just so weird.

[54:06] Claudia: And Andrew's definitely talked about this in the podcast before.

[54:09] Conor: But it is just so weird how with the season for newbies, I understand that they needed newbies, but how they didn't make like Britney Blaine, Tina, are she more central and then have Ryder, Marley, Jake, et cetera, in the back?

[54:24] Claudia: Yeah. Do you know what I'm trying to say?

[54:26] Conor: Yeah, well, I think at the first, like they do the makeover and they almost like I think that they were trying too hard, like the pendulum of like, OK, they brought in like Rory and Joe last season.

[54:39] Claudia: And they were like, no, we need to hire actors like Blake Jenner to really deliver these scenes.

[54:46] Conor: I do think that Blake is a good actor.

[54:49] Claudia: I think that.

[54:50] Conor: Yeah.

[54:50] Claudia: I think that he's an actor who can act who knows it.

[54:54] Conor: I don't know if that makes any sense.

[54:56] Claudia: And that kind of annoys me sometimes.

[54:57] Conor: It is very odd that he was supposed to be in that the Merrily We Roll Along movie adaptation.

[55:03] Claudia: And now, obviously, Paul Maskell is doing it instead.

[55:05] Conor: Yeah, I feel like I probably should have been Paul Maskell from the get go.

[55:08] Claudia: But that is my opinion anyway.

[55:10] Conor: And he's a Linklater guy, like, yeah.

[55:13] Claudia: Yeah, he's good.

[55:21] Conor: Yeah, I wish.

[55:22] Claudia: He's good in Edge of Seventeen and Everybody Wants Some.

[1:25:46] Conor: Because they all have money in that bank account.

[1:25:49] Claudia: Like particularly Leah.

[1:25:50] Conor: Leah.

[1:25:51] Claudia: The teeth are white.

[1:25:52] Conor: She has the teeth are white.

[1:25:54] Claudia: She goes from Goofy Banks to like.

[1:25:56] Conor: Yeah, that's crazy.

[1:25:57] Claudia: Quinn, even though Diana is obviously the most raging woman on the face of the planet.

[1:26:02] Conor: Even she is so much more.

[1:26:04] Claudia: I don't know.

[1:26:05] Conor: It's the makeup.

[1:26:06] Claudia: It's something.

[1:26:07] Conor: There's definitely spray tans.

[1:26:08] Claudia: And I think Jenna said that too.

[1:26:09] Conor: Corey, yeah.

[1:26:10] Claudia: Corey has really like toned up.

[1:26:12] Conor: He's less scrawny.

[1:26:13] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:26:14] Conor: They got the money had hit the bank account by that stage, you know.

[1:26:19] Claudia: Good for them.

[1:26:20] Conor: Good for them.

[1:26:21] Claudia: We got the money now.

[1:26:22] Conor: Good for them.

[1:26:23] Claudia: We got tonight.

[1:26:26] Conor: Still got tonight.

[1:26:27] Claudia: Still got tonight.

[1:26:28] Conor: And New York State of got tonight.

[1:26:31] Claudia: New York State of tonight.

[1:26:35] Conor: Wait, what was the other one?

[1:26:37] Claudia: It was your song.

[1:26:38] Conor: Oh, your song.

[1:26:39] Claudia: God.

[1:26:42] Conor: Oh my God, I'm on the edge of my seat.

[1:26:44] Claudia: Oh my God.

[1:26:45] Conor: So hard.

[1:26:46] Claudia: I wonder how this is going to go.

[1:26:48] Conor: New York State of mind.

[1:26:49] Claudia: If you can see the faces of Andrew and Claudia right now.

[1:26:53] Conor: I just, I don't know, because I went into this episode and I was like, I didn't want anything bad, like anything crazy to happen.

[1:27:00] Claudia: And then nothing crazy happened.

[1:27:01] Conor: And why do I feel unfulfilled?

[1:27:03] Claudia: I'm bummed.

[1:27:04] Andrew: We had fun for sure.

[1:27:05] Claudia: That's one thing.

[1:27:06] Conor: We did have fun.

[1:27:07] Claudia: We had a lot of fun.

[1:27:08] Conor: We did have fun.

[1:27:09] Claudia: I laughed.

[1:27:10] Conor: I laughed.

[1:27:11] Claudia: I cried.

[1:27:12] Conor: I had a shot.

[1:27:13] Claudia: And I had many, many epiphanies.

[1:27:18] Conor: What is she talking about?

[1:27:20] Claudia: What is she talking about?

[1:27:21] Conor: That's Goop.

[1:27:22] Claudia: That's Gwyneth.

[1:27:23] Conor: I don't know what she's saying.

[1:27:25] Claudia: Many, many epiphanies.

[1:27:26] Conor: I remember like.

[1:27:27] Claudia: I laughed.

[1:27:28] Conor: I cried.

[1:27:29] Claudia: I.

[1:27:30] Conor: Ian made.

[1:27:31] Claudia: Goop is a gay guy thing.

[1:27:32] Conor: I don't.

[1:27:33] Claudia: I had a shot.

[1:27:34] Conor: Ian made like an edit of like her over that audio where it's like her, what Gwyneth is doing, Holly Holliday is doing in the substitute.

[1:27:43] Claudia: Where it's like.

[1:27:44] Conor: Oh my God.

[1:27:45] Claudia: She's laughing, she's crying.

[1:27:46] Conor: And then she has the gun and the Chicago number.

[1:27:48] Claudia: I took a shot.

[1:27:50] Conor: Many, many epiphanies.

[1:27:51] Claudia: I obviously, I obviously loved listening to Ian.

[1:27:54] Conor: What a wonderful, intelligent man.

[1:27:56] Claudia: And one of my favorite points he has ever brought up on this podcast or on Recovering Gleek is how about Goop.

[1:28:02] Conor: She is just such an icon because she just doesn't care that she's perceived as an elite, wealthy Hollywood celebrity.

[1:28:11] Claudia: And I'm like, good for her.

[1:28:13] Conor: Yeah, totally.

[1:28:14] Claudia: Go ahead.

[1:28:15] Conor: That's what she is.

[1:28:16] Claudia: And she knows it.

[1:28:17] Conor: And that's fine.

[1:28:19] Claudia: I love her for that.

[1:28:20] Conor: I am excited to see her return to acting in Marty Supreme.

[1:28:25] Claudia: Yeah, me too.

[1:28:26] Conor: I don't know if either of you are clocking this in any way, but.

[1:28:29] Claudia: In a major way.

[1:28:30] Conor: Yeah, she is going to be, she'd come back for the Glee boot.

[1:28:33] Claudia: Yeah, I think that she would too.

[1:28:35] Conor: Well, I remember when she did like, was it like the 73, Vogue 73 questions?

[1:28:39] Claudia: I think like the last question was like, what was like your time on Glee like?

[1:28:44] Conor: And like out of context, it's crazy.

[1:28:45] Claudia: But knowing that she met her husband, like she's like, it's the most special.

[1:28:50] Conor: I can't even get into it.

[1:28:52] Claudia: On my last day on this planet.

[1:28:55] Conor: On this earth.

[1:28:56] Claudia: I will remember my day on Glee.

[1:28:59] Conor: And I'm still holding Stevie Nicks to that.

[1:29:02] Claudia: What a chaotic episode.

[1:29:04] Conor: Wait, did we, we did vote for New York State of Mind?

[1:29:07] Claudia: We did, but yes, but yes, it's going to be that one for sure.

[1:29:11] Andrew: Elijah, clock it.

[1:29:13] Conor: Elijah, keep in mind.

[1:29:14] Claudia: Wait, Connor, that is a New York State of Mind vote.

[1:29:19] Conor: Yes?

[1:29:20] Claudia: Yes.

[1:29:21] Conor: I gotta answer your question.

[1:29:25] Claudia: That's all I've got.

[1:29:26] Conor: Yes.

[1:29:27] Claudia: Yes.

[1:29:28] Conor: Valerie, why don't you come on over to hell?

[1:29:35] Claudia: No.

[1:29:36] Conor: No.

[1:29:37] Claudia: Bust your windows.

[1:29:39] Conor: Bust the glass ceiling.

[1:29:43] Claudia: And move on up to round four.

[1:29:46] Conor: Definitely.

[1:29:47] Claudia: Your song.

[1:29:48] Conor: Hmm.

[1:29:49] Claudia: Your song.

[1:29:51] Conor: I'm pressing skip.

[1:29:53] Claudia: Your song.

[1:29:54] Conor: You're over.

[1:29:56] Claudia: You're done.

[1:29:57] Conor: You're done.

[1:29:58] Claudia: Your song.

[1:30:00] Claudia: New York State of Mind. New York State of Winning. New York State of Winning. New York State of Mind. Mind over matter in this competition. You crushed it. She's a poet. She's a poet. Yeah. That's perfect. Thanks. I really loved it. Thank you both. Thanks for having us. An impromptu recording. So chaotic. I feel like we laughed and cried. We took a shot. I took a shot. And we had many, many, many epiphanies.

[1:30:57] Conor: Definitely. Um, Conor.

[1:31:01] Claudia: Andre, are you aware of that older woman? Are you aware of that older woman on TikTok? Are you aware of that older woman?

[1:31:07] Conor: She's sitting in her car. What are y'all saying with your vague fucking statement? Do you know her?

[1:31:15] Claudia: I know exactly what you're talking. It's like almost like Glenn Close in Deliverance. I don't know if you've watched that movie. Who is she? Y'all with your vague fucking statement. You know who I'm talking about?

[1:31:29] Conor: I know. I know. Yes, she has classes.

[1:31:31] Claudia: A seven-year-old white woman in her car.

[1:31:35] Conor: What the fuck are y'all saying with those vague fucking statements?

[1:31:42] Claudia: She's like threatening someone. I'll send it to you, Claudia. It's really great.

[1:31:49] Conor: Oh my God. Do you know, whilst we're on the topic of TikTok icons, my new favorite TikTok personality is actually in New York.

[1:31:57] Claudia: The gay guy from New York. Shut the fuck up and fuck me.

[1:32:01] Conor: Shut the fuck up. That's kind of like the same thing as I've got an insecure question. Do you want to fuck?

[1:32:11] Claudia: It's so good.

[1:32:14] Conor: Oh my God. That's what I thought Kevin McHale coded. Shut the fuck up and fuck me. Everybody's homework is to watch that music video.

[1:32:22] Claudia: I love the way every second or third TikTok, that guy, he kind of does it differently. So he's like, shut the fuck up and fuck me.

[1:32:31] Conor: Oh no. I do not like that.

[1:32:37] Claudia: I love him. I hope he's well.

[1:32:39] Conor: Connor, call to Galactian. What are you asking people?

[1:32:44] Claudia: What am I asking you to do? Talk to me on Instagram.

[1:32:48] Conor: I am Connor Burke. That's I am and then Connor C-O-N-N-O-R. Not two N's. Not C-O-N-E-R like all of these Americans seem to spell. C-O-N-O-R with one N. Burke. B-U-R-K-E after the famous British singer, Alexander Burke.

[1:33:09] Claudia: No relation, which is a, it's a shame to me because there was an elephant in the room.

[1:33:16] Conor: Are you okay?

[1:33:20] Claudia: I just feel like this entire episode has just been like, we've been just like saying references.

[1:33:26] Conor: We're just doing Tina.

[1:33:27] Claudia: No, we're not doing Tina.

[1:33:30] Conor: Elephant in the room. So I just thought, why not?

[1:33:33] Claudia: Claudia, is the elephant in the room your call to action for the Gleeks?

[1:33:39] Conor: I'm confused by the structure of that question.

[1:33:42] Claudia: Y'all kill me with these vague funny things.

[1:33:46] Conor: Exactly.

[1:33:49] Claudia: I suppose my call to action is to also talk to me on Instagram. I don't, I think that's what this leading question is. My Instagram is Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:33:58] Conor: Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:34:00] Claudia: Definitely doing that kind of thing.

[1:34:02] Conor: We do need a jingle.

[1:34:04] Claudia: For me?

[1:34:06] Conor: Yeah, for Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:34:08] Claudia: Let's make it right now.

[1:34:09] Conor: Yeah, I like the way you guys think. So you guys can go ahead and take it away.

[1:34:13] Conor: Claudia, Claudia, Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:34:18] Claudia: That's nice.

[1:34:22] Conor: He's not liking it. He's trying to workshop it.

[1:34:24] Claudia: I know, but like, now I'm afraid that like, I didn't. I think that we could do better. But like, I'm afraid that like, what is going to come out of my mouth is going to be worse.

[1:34:33] Conor: Yeah.

[1:34:34] Claudia: You know?

[1:34:35] Conor: I thought that was good, Connor, don't worry.

[1:34:37] Claudia: I think that was good, actually.

[1:34:40] Conor: I feel like I'm on America's Got Talent right now. I'm waiting for the golden buzzer.

[1:34:45] Claudia: That's the wrong show.

[1:34:47] Conor: Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:34:52] Claudia: No.

[1:34:53] Conor: Yeah, I like that. I love when you do this. You've been doing this a lot more lately.

[1:34:56] Claudia: I've elongated Claudia.

[1:34:58] Conor: Claudia Gets Crafty.

[1:35:02] Claudia: That was so nice. And I could hear like, and then you sing it in like many other octaves, and then they're all overlaid.

[1:35:08] Conor: Gets Crafty.

[1:35:09] Claudia: Yes.

[1:35:10] Conor: Crafty.

[1:35:11] Claudia: I love it.

[1:35:12] Conor: Crafty.

[1:35:13] Claudia: Yeah, there we go.

[1:35:14] Conor: Thank you so much.

[1:35:15] Claudia: It's so much better than Connor's, right?

[1:35:17] Conor: It was. You know, I love this podcast so much. I've got a favorite, this is for a different episode, but every single regular person on this podcast, I've got a favorite bit of theirs. Like, they do a thing that's my favorite bit of theirs.

[1:35:27] Claudia: What is your favorite Claudia bit?

[1:35:33] Conor: Oh, my favorite Claudia bit. It's probably just talking about Quinn and Santana.

[1:35:42] Claudia: Sure.

[1:35:43] Conor: When it's just not warranted, but it's absolutely iconic anyway.

[1:35:47] Claudia: Thank you.

[1:35:48] Conor: I've obviously got loads of Andrew ones because he's a host. My favorite Ean bit, this is why I brought it up because you reminded me of Ean, because whenever Ean is so, like, obviously he's such an amazing singer. But he's like, oh my god, no, I really love that part of the song where like, and then he does like the best vocal.

[1:36:03] Claudia: Things fall out, yeah.

[1:36:12] Conor: And me and Andrew are just like, Claudia gets cringy.

[1:36:16] Claudia: Claudia, yeah.

[1:36:19] Conor: Yeah.

[1:36:20] Claudia: Wait, I want to know, not to make it about me, what is your favorite bit of mine? Connor?

[1:36:26] Conor: To Hell, obviously, but that's an obvious one. To Hell is one of my favorite ones. I do love when you sing.

[1:36:32] Claudia: I really love when you sing.

[1:36:33] Conor: Claudia's right, you have been doing that.

[1:36:35] Claudia: You've been doing the Cold Open lately.

[1:36:37] Conor: A lot more.

[1:36:38] Claudia: Yeah, I really like it.

[1:36:39] Conor: You've been singing a lot more. I don't know if it's a conscious decision, but I found that back in, like, round one into round two, it was only every, it was very sporadic.

[1:36:47] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:36:48] Conor: Yeah, then obviously, like, for example, with Abby, it's all of her headcanon, of course.

[1:36:54] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:36:55] Conor: I've got loads. I'm going to, I'll obviously put my thinking cap on. And I want to hear, I want to hear from the beautiful girls reading this right now, what their favorite bits of the regular people that come on. Because I want to know, I want to know what's, what's, what's working? What should we implement more?

[1:37:15] Claudia: Yeah, let's workshop this.

[1:37:16] Conor: Let's work more of these bits.

[1:37:18] Claudia: You can point out all the bits that they hate, and they're like, can you stop saying that's awesome? Which I don't mean to say.

[1:37:23] Conor: Everyone's going to be like, wait, actually, we hate when Andrew sings.

[1:37:28] Claudia: My other one of my favorite Claudia bits is it's not even directly Claudia. It's obviously Claudia coded. It's the, it's the, the hex that Eduardo has on you.

[1:37:38] Conor: Oh, my God. Yes.

[1:37:39] Claudia: Oh, yeah.

[1:37:40] Conor: That's my favorite bit of mine.

[1:37:42] Claudia: Eduardo.

[1:37:43] Conor: The hex on yourself.

[1:37:45] Claudia: He says so many things and they're so targeted to me. I don't really know what I ever did wrong, but.

[1:37:52] Conor: It's because he's secretly in love with you.

[1:37:55] Claudia: Of course.

[1:37:56] Conor: That's mutual.

[1:37:57] Claudia: I love this.

[1:37:59] Conor: Enemies to lovers.

[1:38:00] Claudia: I love Eduardo. Wait, also, I also, this is such a weird place to even bring this up, but I'm looking at the songs from this episode that we just had. Lash Ryder solo.

[1:38:09] Conor: I mean, that was, do we even care?

[1:38:14] Claudia: No.

[1:38:15] Conor: Bye.

[1:38:16] Claudia: Did we do even like a proper send off to Ryder?

[1:38:18] Conor: No.

[1:38:20] Claudia: Ryder, your dad still has a PhD and I hope you're okay.

[1:38:27] Conor: I think that Ryder will make it far with Bitches Back Dress You Up.

[1:38:33] Claudia: He will. He has a good voice and I like him in that one.

[1:38:36] Conor: Yeah.

[1:38:37] Claudia: Anyway.

[1:38:38] Conor: I need to take a shower.

[1:38:40] Claudia: I know.

[1:38:41] Conor: I need to take a shit.

[1:38:44] Claudia: Yes.

[1:38:47] Conor: Speaking of Ryder.

[1:38:49] Claudia: Apply to an episode, please, right at the end. I need to take a shit.

[1:38:52] Conor: There was something else in the beginning that was funny.

[1:38:57] Claudia: No, there was something, it was clocking the grieving, maybe.

[1:39:01] Conor: I need to have a word with you.

[1:39:03] Claudia: I need to take a shower. You did not eat ten items in the carousel for the last time I appeared and I need a full carousel this time.

[1:39:12] Conor: Wait, what do you mean?

[1:39:14] Claudia: Maybe you did.

[1:39:15] Conor: I didn't do ten.

[1:39:16] Claudia: I don't know, but I want this one to be twenty.

[1:39:19] Conor: Oh, I feel like we have a lot of content.

[1:39:22] Claudia: Yeah. I want a compilation of us singing all the songs all at once.

[1:39:26] Conor: There's ten here!

[1:39:27] Claudia: I want the still of Leah and Chelsea Handler in it.

[1:39:32] Conor: Do we do a proper job of explaining that?

[1:39:36] Claudia: Okay, I'll try to make it work.

[1:39:38] Conor: I don't know, but workshop it.

[1:39:40] Claudia: Work your magic.

[1:39:41] Conor: They'll figure it out.

[1:39:42] Claudia: It's JuliaCon. I'll figure it out. Anyway, see you next time!

[1:39:46] Conor: Bye!

[1:39:47] Claudia: Bye!

[1:39:48] Conor: Bye Gleek!

[1:39:49] Claudia: Okay, bye!

[1:39:50] Conor: It's Gleek, Gleek of the Week.
