The generous Tyrone Davis Jr talks with us this week. Tyrone takes a second to talk us through his experience protesting over the weekend. He's a remarkable, lifelong activist and the last thing in the world he needed to do was talk with us.
We were not going to have a episode this week in solidarity with George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and the countless lives lost to police violence, but we were honored that Tyrone was willing to chat with us and we thought giving our platform to his voice was important. He and Dan did Waitress together on Broadway and it has been inspiring to see the Waitress family come together around Tyrone.
As Tyrone mentions in the episode, please consider supporting the National Lawyers Guild, which provides legal support for people who are protesting and Free Them All For Public Health which provides medical help and support to protestors who are arrested.
