Now that he's old, he needs to go in and out more often. And sometimes, he has a hard time waiting for us to get to the door. This door will sense him and open for him.

[1:38] Kitten: Wow, I have noticed. It's getting really hard for Jack at times. So, will the door be able to open and close on its own?

[1:45] Mom: That's the plan. It's almost ready. Just a couple more adjustments. There, that should do it.

[1:58] Kitten: It works! It opened on its own. And now it's closing. How does it work?

[2:05] Mom: See this little box over here on the wall by the door? That's a motion sensor. If something moves in front of it, it will signal the door to open. Then when the motion is gone, the door will close.

[2:16] Kitten: What if the dogs want to come back in?

[2:18] Mom: You are correct. That is why I have another sensor on the outside to let them in. Should we call the dogs over and show it to them?

[8:20] Clucky: I am Désolé, I'm looking for Kitten.

[8:24] Feral: Désolé what? What kind of name is that? Do I hear an accent? Where are you from?

[8:42] Feral: I do not mean to intrude, but the magical door just opened when I got close.

Jack is not friendly particularly towards cats and his memory seems to be getting much worse lately. He doesn't even recognize me. Not that that would matter. He still does not like me. He's hyper aware of intruders. So I guess it's a good thing you didn't wake him up and he found you.

[14:24] Pharrell: Oh Kitten! I was looking out for my safety. You really are such a tender sweet cat. I've also met your rotten friend. Ruby something.

[14:36] Rubix: Are there hairballs in your ears? Rubix! Bix! Rhymes with inflix! Like the terror I can cause when I escape this cage! Ha ha ha! Squeak squeak squeak! This little one is very threatening, no? But it is very difficult to take them so seriously when she's so small.

[14:57] Kitten: Yes, you could say her squeak is worse than her bite. Although I don't know if Maddox would agree with that. She has rather sharp teeth. How was this, Rodent? I was hoping that you might join me for a stroll along the path.

[15:12] Pharrell: Well, we should get you out of the house before someone finds you. We can go through the open window that Maddox leaves for me rather than chance Jack finding you upstairs. One of these things I like so much about you, Kitten. So practical and intelligent.

[15:27] Kitten: Sure. Pharrell, you have to promise me not to go near that automatic door again. It's really dangerous for you to encounter Jack. Rosie won't hurt you, but Jack is really unpredictable these days.

[15:44] Kitten: It's not really my heart, Pharrell. It's just in your best interest. Meow, let's go through the... Hey, is that Clucky? What is he doing up at the house? He never wanders this far away from the coop before. This is a crazy day. Come on, Pharrell, let's go find out. Just hop up here and go through the open window.

[16:11] Kitten: Not too close, Pharrell. I do need my personal space here.

[16:15] Pharrell: Oui, of course. I must restrain myself.

[16:19] Clucky: Oh, hey, Kitten. Look at me. I'm up at the house. I haven't been here in the yard since we first arrived.

[16:27] Kitten: Clucky, how did you get over here?

[16:30] Clucky: I'm what you call a free-range rooster now. Free, free-range and rooster.

[16:37] Pharrell: Bonjour, Clucky.

[16:39] Clucky: Oh, hey, Pharrell. Were you in the house?

[16:43] Pharrell: Yes. He accidentally came through the new automatic door the mom person installed for Jack. It has been quite an adventure today.

[16:52] Clucky: No, Kitten. Xander left the coop open for us and the hens and I have been meandering all over the place. I forgot all about the nice soft grass up by the house. We can see it again now that the snow has melted, but the ground is a bit squishy and cold between my claws.

[17:10] Kitten: Yes, the snow was quite difficult to walk through. It's why I have not been able to visit my kitten until now. Hmm, maybe the snow wasn't so bad after all.

[17:21] Clucky: So, what does this mean, this free-ranging, you think of, Clucky?

[17:26] Kitten: It means freedom, right?

[17:28] Clucky: Well, during the day, that is. Every evening I'll return home to the coop to go to sleep and keep safe from any local predators. But during the day, I get to spread my wings and stretch my legs. I have a large area to walk around and explore.

[17:44] Clucky: Hey, Kitten, it'll be just like in Florida when we could visit each other really easily.

[17:49] Kitten: That's so exciting, Clucky. I've missed you being able to come up and explore whenever you liked.

[17:55] Clucky: Yeah, me too. I thought I'd look in on the H.O.D. Is she still trying to take over the world?

[18:02] Kitten: Of course. Some things never change. I still hear her hum the Hamster of Doom song to herself every so often. It's very annoying. It gets stuck in my head.

[20:13] Rubix: Sounds like an opportunity for twigs to get stuck in my fur.

[20:17] Clucky: Fear not. I will save you from any branch that should try and leap upon you, my precious.

[20:24] Rubix: Would you look at that? It's starting to snow. The weather here is so strange. Sunny one minute and snow in the next. I'd better head back down and gather up the ladies. Those clouds look like they're moving in fast.

[20:39] Kitten: Oh, you're right, Clucky. It looks like it could be a really bad storm. The wind is picking up, too.

[24:02] Clucky: Wow, that's quite a long name. I wish I had extraordinary in my name. I can see why he shortened it. So why does a Groundhog have such a big name?

[24:13] Amy Daniels: Well, he's a legend, and he predicts when spring will come.

[24:17] Clucky: He controls the weather?

[24:19] Amy Daniels: No, of course not. However, on February 2nd, he comes out of his den, and if he sees a shadow, he goes back in, and there'll be six more weeks of winter. If it's cloudy and he does not see a shadow, that means spring will come soon.

[24:34] Clucky: February 2nd? That's already past. What happened? Did he see a shadow? Will this winter last another six weeks? We've had some nice days. I was hoping spring was coming.

[24:47] Amy Daniels: He did not see his shadow, so he's predicting that spring is on his way.

[24:52] Clucky: Hooray! I'm so excited to experience spring!
