[2:00] Clucky: Meow, of course it is not a punishment. We are leaving today and your normal habitat is too big to fit in the large metal people carriers on wheels. Can you believe we are leaving today?

[2:18] Clucky: Finally, all of the people in and out, moving things around, stirring up so much dust and also stopping to try and pet me. I am so ready to go.

I think the store employees knew a revolt was coming and wanted to get rid of me. I wonder if they had an informant. I bet it was Cheeks. He probably squeaked a plan for more seeds.

[2:56] Clucky: Oh Rubix, the world is not out to get you. Maddox truly does care for you. She was so worried when you were missing.

[3:05] Rubix: Yeah, worried I'd turn the tables on her and put her in the cage.

[3:10] Clucky: Meow. Rubix, I do not see how this crazy plan of yours will work. You are a small fuzzy white hamster. How do you think you will be able to take over the world and control humans?

[3:22] Rubix: Squeak, squeak. Very tricky kitten. I see what you are doing. You pretend you want to be my friend and you are really trying to get close to me so you can discover my plan. Once you do, you will go straight to the humans and betray me. No, no, I will not fall for your tricks. I will keep my plans to myself.

[4:45] Rubix: I wonder if there will be new bugs out west.

[4:50] Clucky: You just helped me discover the cockroach creams. I hope they have those.

[5:00] Clucky: Well, I must eat to survive.

[5:03] Rubix: I do not think your survival is threatened. Did you come up here to get away from all the commotion down below?

[5:17] Rubix: You must have mixed feelings if you're up here at 7 a.m. and the 85 degree heat with air so thick you can almost drink it.

[5:33] Rubix: 50 degrees? In the summer?

[5:36] Clucky: Yes, the temperatures can range 40 degrees in a single day.

[5:41] Rubix: Wow, that's going to be different.

[5:44] Clucky: It's super rare for the temperatures here in Florida to change more than 10 degrees all day long. Can you imagine it being 50 degrees in the morning and 90 in the afternoon?

[6:02] Rubix: Part of me is, but part of me is sad to go. This is the only place I've ever known. This is the first home I've ever known.

[6:13] Clucky: Me too. The cool thing about home is it's not a location. It's the loved ones that you surround yourself with.

[6:42] Clucky: We'll find our roads entwined. Mountains, valleys, hills. We'll cross them all till we find home.

[7:00] Clucky: Long this road will be winding and long. I am scared. Feeling so unprepared. This was home. Our loved ones are home.

[7:41] Rubix: You're right. There's no time to fear. I know you'll be here. Families stick together. There's no storm we can't weather. Together you have me and I have you. Together we'll get through and find home.

[8:39] Clucky: Anytime, kitten. It's okay to be scared. The best thing you can do is talk to someone about your feelings. I can't change a situation, but I think there's comfort in knowing that we're in it together.

[8:56] Clucky: I was so distracted I just noticed.

[8:59] Rubix: Oh, you like that?

[9:01] Clucky: I'm looking pretty dapper in my new threads.

[9:08] Clucky: It clips around my neck and under my wings, and there's a little hook on the back so that Xander can hook a leash to it.

[9:24] Kitten: Yeah, Xander put one on me and each of the hens.

[9:27] Clucky: When we stop for breaks, Xander can take us all out for a walk to find bugs.

[9:31] Clucky: He said he's not sure if all the places we're staying have fenced yards, so he just wanted to be sure we could stretch our legs without wandering too far.
