Robert Bannon welcomes filmmaker Adam Finberg, the director and writer of the new sci-fi thriller Star People. The film is set during the 1997 Phoenix Lights UFO phenomenon and follows Claire, a photographer haunted by a childhood encounter, as she returns to the Arizona desert with her UFO-obsessed boyfriend and estranged brother. What begins as a search for truth turns into a journey through heat, mystery, and human connection.

Adam shares the inspirations behind the film, how his Phoenix upbringing shaped the story, and what it was like working with an incredible cast to bring this otherworldly tale to life. Star People premieres in select theaters on July 25, 2025, with a nationwide VOD release to follow on August 12.
