Bradley Darryl Wong, better known as BD Wong, is an American actor, director, and singer who has graced the Broadway stage with his captivating performances and undeniable talent for over three decades. His Broadway debut came in 1988 in the groundbreaking play M. Butterfly, where he originated the role of Song Liling, a Chinese opera singer whose gender identity is ambiguous.

Wong's portrayal of Song Liling was nothing short of mesmerizing, earning him critical acclaim and a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. He became the only actor to sweep the major Broadway awards for a single role, winning the Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Clarence Derwent Award, and Theatre World Award.

Beyond his Tony-winning performance, Wong has continued to captivate audiences with his diverse range of Broadway roles. He starred in Face Value in 1993, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown in 1999, Pacific Overtures in 2004, and Herringbone in 2013. His versatility and talent have allowed him to seamlessly transition between genres, from comedic to dramatic, always leaving a lasting impression on the stage.

In addition to his Broadway work, Wong has also appeared in numerous television shows and films. He is best known for his role as Dr. John Yang on the hit NBC medical drama ER, which earned him five Emmy Award nominations. He has also starred in World of Warcraft, Jurassic World, and Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens.
