Emma Hunton is an accomplished musical theater actress whose career has been marked by significant roles both on and off Broadway. She made her Broadway debut as Ilse in the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening in 2008, joining the cast as a replacement and showcasing her vocal and acting talents early on. Hunton also joined the Broadway cast of the hit musical Next to Normal, where she understudied and later performed the role of Natalie. Her success continued on the national stage, where she is particularly known for her acclaimed performance as Elphaba in the first national tour of Wicked, making her one of the youngest actresses to ever take on the iconic role.
In addition to her Broadway work, Hunton has made a notable impact on the Off-Broadway scene and in national tours. She played the role of Maureen in the Off-Broadway production of Rent and portrayed Natalie in the first national tour of Next to Normal alongside Tony winner Alice Ripley.
