Jeffrey embarked on his acting journey in the bustling hub of New York City, where he honed his craft on Broadway, in film, and on television for over two decades. Along the way, he also found success in commercials and voice-overs.
One of his standout achievements was his role in the original cast of A Few Good Men on Broadway, where he performed in over 500 shows. Following his time on stage, Jeffrey transitioned into the world of casting, serving as a vital part of the prestigious McCorkle Casting, LTD for the past 15 years.
Currently, McCorkle Casting is deeply involved in casting for two upcoming Broadway productions and six feature films slated for the next season. McCorkle Casting Ltd. boasts an impressive track record, having cast over 50 Broadway productions and more than 65 Off-Broadway projects. Their influence extends beyond the stage, with involvement in notable films such as Premium Rush, Ghost Town, and Die Hard with a Vengeance, among many others.
McCorkle Casting’s eye for talent also extends to the small screen, with credits on shows like "Sesame Street," "Californication" (earning an Emmy nomination), and a variety of other television productions.
In addition to his casting work, Jeffrey wears multiple hats in the entertainment industry. He hosts the podcast Casting Actors Cast, (on the Broadway Podcast Network) which has garnered over 110 thousand downloads, and is the author of "Conversation Pieces out of the Studio: The Voice over Workshop for Professional Actors" (Dog Ear Publishing, 2011). His upcoming book, "Jeff's Jots: The Actor's Career Playbook," is scheduled for release in July 2024.
