Laurie Metcalf is a three-time Tony Award-winning actress who starred as Sarah in Little Bear Ridge Road. Her extraordinary Broadway career includes Tony-winning performances in A Doll's House, Part 2, Three Tall Women, and The Other Place. She has also appeared on Broadway in Misery, November, and My Thing of Love, and is a founding ensemble member of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where she originated the role in Little Bear Ridge Road.
On screen, Metcalf is beloved for her portrayal of Jackie Harris on Roseanne and The Conners, for which she has won multiple Emmy Awards. She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird. Her additional film credits include Toy Story (as the voice of Andy's Mom), JFK, Desperately Seeking Susan, and Internal Affairs. She has also appeared in The Big Bang Theory, Getting On, and Horace and Pete.
