Marsha Mason is an American actress and director. She has been nominated four times for the Academy Award for Best Actress: for her performances in Cinderella Liberty, The Goodbye Girl, Chapter Two, and Only When I Laugh. The first two films also won her Golden Globe Awards.

Mason has appeared on ABC’s hit comedy, THE MIDDLE. In 2014 she was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Gulf Coast Film Festival and co-starred in the Westport Country Playhouse’s production of W. Somerset Maugham’s THE CIRCLE.
