Nikki Anders (née Hassman) is an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, and producer known for her work on hit TV shows like Glee and films such as Rock of Ages and Journey to Bethlehem. A former Olympic gymnastics hopeful from Waverly, Iowa, she transitioned to a career in music in Nashville. Her early success came as a member of the Grammy-winning Christian vocal group Avalon, which sold over 1.5 million albums and earned three Dove Awards.
Anders has written and produced songs that have collectively sold millions of records for artists like Miley Cyrus ("Hoedown Throwdown") and the Jonas Brothers. Her extensive television work includes serving as a vocalist, vocal arranger, and songwriter for 90% of the songs on Glee, in addition to acting as a mentor and vocal producer on the reality series The Glee Project.
