In the midst of a country on fire and stress at an all time high, this week, we’re looking to the helpers. We’re looking to those carving a path towards a more equitable tomorrow. The Black Theatre Coalition is an organization dedicated to shattering the "illusion of inclusion" by building a sustainable ethical roadmap that will increase employment opportunities for Black theatre professionals. Founders T. Oliver Reid and Warren Adams break down not only the mission of this incredible organization, but how they are already creating systems that will finally make the American Theatre an institution that POC can build a thriving career within.
