Aasif Mandvi plays Fred Sterroll in the Broadway revival of Fallen Angels. His Broadway credits include the 2002 revival of Oklahoma! (as Ali Hakim, directed by Trevor Nunn). Off-Broadway, he starred as Amir in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar at Lincoln Center Theater, receiving a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. He also wrote and performed the acclaimed one-man show Sakina's Restaurant, which earned him an Obie Award.
Mandvi is widely known for his eleven-year tenure as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His screen credits include Spider-Man 2, The Internship, Million Dollar Arm, and Movie 43. On television, he has appeared in Evil, Halston, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and The Brink. He is also the author of the book No Land's Man.
