Andrea McArdle is an American actress and singer, best known for originating the role of Annie in the Broadway musical Annie. She was just 13 years old when she took on the role, and her electrifying performance made her a star overnight. McArdle has since gone on to have a successful career in musical theater, starring in productions such as Jerry's Girls, Starlight Express, and Les Misérables. She has also appeared on television and in film, including the NBC telepic Rainbow, in which she played Judy Garland.
