Ricardo Chavira plays Isaac Rosario in the Broadway premiere of The Balusters. Though best known for his screen work, Chavira has deep roots in the theater, with stage credits including The Motherf**ker with the Hat at the National Theatre in London, the Off-Broadway production of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, and numerous regional theater productions at the Guthrie Theater and beyond.
Chavira is best known for his role as Carlos Solis on the ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives, for which he shared two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series. His additional television credits include Selena: The Series, Scandal, Jane the Virgin, Santa Clarita Diet, Burn Notice, and Apple TV+'s Truth Be Told. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, he holds an M.F.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
