Susannah Flood is a New York-based actress who earned a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated summa cum laude, and an MFA in acting from the Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company Consortium. She made her Broadway debut in the 2016 revival of The Cherry Orchard and later returned to Broadway in the 2022 production of Birthday Candles. Most recently, she starred as Lizzie in the 2025 Broadway production of Liberation, a role she originated in the world premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company and for which she and the cast received the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble and the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Ensemble.
In addition to her theater work, Flood is well known for her role as Kate Littlejohn in the ABC legal drama For the People. Her other television credits include Life & Beth, Chicago Fire, The Good Fight, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her extensive Off-Broadway credits include lead roles in Make Believe, The Effect, Tribes, Scenes From A Marriage, and Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play. She also provides the voice for Laeticia Saltier in the podcast The Orbiting Human Circus (of the Air)
