The 2-LP vinyl/book edition features a deluxe 64-page book, which contains thirteen exclusive essays, exclusive production photography, and complete lyrics. Gypsy was performed from November 21, 2024 through Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre (245 West 44th Street). The album, which is also available on CD in streaming and digital formats, is produced by David Caddick, David Lai, and Andy Einhorn. The album co-producers are Mara Isaacs, Tom Kirdahy, and George C. Wolfe, with Cue to Cue Productions, Thomas M. Neff, and Kerry Washington serving as executive producers. George C. Wolfe (Director)
George C. Wolfe, a six-time Tony Award-winning director, helmed the production of Gypsy. His vision brought to life the ultimate tale of mothers and daughters, ambition and fame, and the lengths we’ll go in pursuit of the American dream.
Audra McDonald (Rose)
Six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald starred as Rose in the production. The New York Times raved that “Audra McDonald is take-your-breath-away Great…you realize you are witnessing a feat that people will talk about for generations. This is one.”
Danny Burstein (Herbie)
Tony Award winner Danny Burstein played the role of Herbie in the production.
