Robin de Jesús is an American film and theater actor of Puerto Rican descent. He has received Tony Award nominations for his roles in In the Heights, La Cage aux Folles, and The Boys in the Band. He is best known for his roles in these Broadway musicals, as well as his roles in the films Camp and HairBrained.
De Jesús was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, and began his acting career at a young age. He appeared in several regional productions before making his Broadway debut in 2008 in the musical In the Heights. He received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in the show.
De Jesús has since appeared in a number of other Broadway shows, including La Cage aux Folles, Wicked, and The Boys in the Band. He has also appeared in a number of films and television shows.
