Santino Fontana is a Tony Award-winning actor known for his versatile talent across stage, screen, and voice work. He has earned acclaim for his performances in both musicals and straight plays on Broadway.

Fontana's breakthrough Broadway role came in 2010 when he starred as Tony in the revival of West Side Story. He followed this with a celebrated performance as Prince Topher in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella (2013), for which he earned his first Tony Award nomination. His ability to seamlessly shift between comedy and drama was showcased in his portrayal of Moss Hart in Act One (2014), directed by James Lapine at Lincoln Center Theater.

In 2019, Fontana took on the challenging dual role of Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels in Tootsie, a musical adaptation of the 1982 film. His performance earned rave reviews for his comedic timing, vocal range, and emotional depth, ultimately winning him the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.

Beyond the stage, Fontana is well known for voicing Prince Hans in Disney’s animated film Frozen (2013). He’s also appeared on television in shows like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
