Jonathan Groff is an American actor and singer best known for his roles in Broadway musicals such as Spring Awakening, Hamilton, Merrily We Roll Along, and Little Shop of Horrors. He has also appeared in films and television shows such as Frozen, Glee, and Mindhunter. Groff is known for his powerful voice, his emotional range, and his ability to connect with audiences.

Groff was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1985. He began performing in community theater as a teenager, and went on to study at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. After graduating, Groff moved to New York City to pursue a career in theater.

In 2006, Groff made his Broadway debut in the original production of Spring Awakening. His performance was critically acclaimed, and he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. In 2015, Groff originated the role of King George III in the original production of Hamilton. His performance was once again critically acclaimed, and he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

Groff has also appeared in a number of other Broadway musicals, including In My Life, Little Shop of Horrors, and Merrily We Roll Along. He has also appeared in films such as Frozen, Taking Woodstock, and Bullet Train. Groff has also appeared in television shows such as Glee, Mindhunter, and Lost Ollie.
